Was coming through our village today when coppers on motorbikes stopped all traffic in both directions . The queen and all the associated  vehicles came through . She was on her way to Chichester from Midhurst . I asked her if she wanted to come in for a mug of tea and a sticky bun but no ! she would rather go to the Festival Theater restaurant .  That's twice she has blown me out now. Once in 1953 when I was in my pram clutching my coronation mug and again today . That's it. I'm not asking her again , done with that . I mean who does she think she is ?
