There's a difference between not getting along, and someone being a t wat and taking liberties. That's what I took from the OP. Didn't see where misconstrued humor, or over sensitivity were mentioned. Which is why I asked that he give names and examples. Get it out in the open.

Goes to show how two people can read the written word differently.

It's easy to see how things get misconstrued. I would just like to think folk would behave on Arbtalk like they do when they are out and about, "being their normal self".

We all bump into people that we chat to then jump in the car with the Mrs and say "what a pr1ck!", that's live. I'd dare bet many people have said it about me, I care, not, I take no notice, or try to fight my corner. I don't see why forums should be any different.

'Keepin it Arb'!, this forum has been a wealth of knowledge to me, from using numerous contractors, to being supplied with chip, fencing work, lifts to shows....

Fair enough. I just like to hear the whole thing, not half a story or second guessing.

About

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.
If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.

See you inside.
