A while back now I watched a whole load of the clips of his parts in Tombstone again on youtube. Absolutely stunning performance: redefined the character, made it his own, a bit like Marlon Brando did with Marc Anthony or The Sisters of Mercy did with Emma*. Stunning to watch.
