How are the veggies coming along?

Here's ours.

Toms, lettuce,aspargus, beetroot, celery, cucumber, butternut squash, runner beans, parsnip, carrots, onions (red, white and spring)

 

Potatoes melons and broad beans are in the wood chip piles.

Eating my lettuce now. Potatoes, beetroot, onions, parsnips doing ok. And of course, got 14 tomato plants in greenhouse, coming along. Growing pak choi for first time, along with a few herbs.

Looking good- Josh, I assume you find the Swedish climate favourable for growing veg- shorter growing season perhaps?

Slowly here, it's been a cold, wet very, very windy May and June.

 

Early potatoes are almost ready for lifting but other things such as courgettes are still in the greenhouse waiting to go out.

 

Currently looking at buying one of those walk in windmesh tunnels for next year.

How about a small poly tunnel- my Dad has just got one and it has revolutionised his veg growing.

Our greenhouse which was beginning to disappear under brambles is getting some slabbing put around it, plus a wall.

It's on the list of things to do. A poly tunnel will cost more and possibly need planning so I'd like to get something to be getting on with.

tomatoes are coming along nicely in the greenhouse, grape vines not so good but then the north of Ireland isn't well known for grape production, spinach and lettuce doing well, as are the carrots and parsnips, peppers are struggling, but the herb garden looks great:thumbup:

Carrots are struggling, two different varieties and neither seems to want to go, tomatoes are flowering, cucumber is growing after a slow start, best of everything is the peas, tried them in tubs this year, the two tubs that got left in the greenhouse have a good crop of pods already, the ones outside are about a fortnight behind.
