What do any of us do when age taps us on the shoulder? Bit of garden maintenance, lawns, hedges the like.

Maybe, as you say, drive a taxi, work in a factory canteen or become the leader of UKIP.

We're all of us shuffling towards our inevitable doom.

(Too dark?)

Well old Father Time is creeping up on me, but I can tell you that doing gardens, lawns, or taxi is the last thing on my mind. I've cut more hedges and felled more trees than you can shake a stick at, and when I call it a day that will be it.

There will be no more sweat rolling off my back, I can tell you that much.

I genuinely hope the only time my back will become permanently sweat free is when its taken on room temperature.

This, but by choice, not necessity.

Wanting to work even if you don't have to is fine.

Having to work if you don't want to shortens your life I reckon.

Freelance all the way mate.

The point I am trying to make is that a number of the firms I work for wouldn't dream off working a weekend without charging a premium for it.

That is how I believe it should be.

As here Rich we don't work weekends but if asked it's time and half Saturday and double time Sunday and BH take it or leave it.
