Just for me and my work its width i struggle with but been filling 3.5t truck up all of this week and sick of lack of space. Thats why i was thinking 6.5t iveco. Not interested in ever drivig an artic etc

That's a lovely setup, but entirely useless for about 3/4 of my jobs.

Bob, you usually talk sense, but your last post about small gardens was total shite.

Half our jobs are medium trees with side access up a max 4' ginnel.

Decent access we whistle up the farm boys with the Matbro and grain trailer.

Yeah, I had quite a bit of interest in it. The first person to come up and see it bought it. Have you seen the 55 plate 6.5t Iveco for sale on Facebook? Looks tidy and not silly money.

Storing wagons at yards means diesel gets nicked but dont think wagons can be kept at personal addresses?

For that to be any use you'd have to park it at the foot of your bed.

 

This is the one of the reasons I decided not to set up doing my own jobs. All the stress and legislation.

 

For what it's worth I'd rather run a 7.5t with similar capacity to a transit and know I was within the law.

 

I'd business owners can't afford to do that then why are we even in this game?

Horses for courses is correct! All these larger vehicles that would make me legal for carriage would be a mare to take into the center of town... perhaps taking my l200 tipper and 1150kg chipper around isn't lawful or sensible but the alternatives would only be super expensive and impractical[emoji848]
