Tragic, but perhaps lacking scale?

18 reportedly killed in Ghana.....

(Ghana amongst the most corrupt countries on the continent - Ghana is second most corrupt African country ? Report | General News 2015-12-01)

50 million starving in South Sudan....

(Corruption At Root Of South Sudan's Power Struggle - Report Reveals Corruption At Root Of South Sudan's Power Struggle : NPR)

Will anything change? Can't quite envisage QTRA making any significant inroads...

Not in our life time.

Good point Mr J.

Thanks to the hidden agendas at the UN we "swallow camels and strain at gnats". No where is this more evident than Africa. £££millions get spent on censuring Israel on settlements, meanwhile millions of people are starving to death. [emoji849][emoji35][emoji35]

It's a tree related incident though Kevin, which is why Stuart posted it.

Yes, that was my thinking too, does that mean the interest is in the tree rather than the deaths or broader geo-political situation?

I mean, the report doesn't even mention the tree species or who last inspected it...

Bloody media!
