Drying cupboard for kit

Afternoon gents. It's Monday and my kit is soaked. The idea of putting on a soggy harness and wringing prussik gravy out off my sleeves afterwards it's making me want to take a bath with a toaster.

Thinking of knocking up a drying cupboard for wet kit on the outside of my garage. Just some marine ply with a vent and some kind of heater. Bit stuck on the heater part though. Needs to be fairly low draw but enough to dry a wet climbing kit overnight. Any ideas?

That kind of drying is slow, chuck em through a rinse and short spin, they wont be dry but clean and nearly dry is a big improvement

Yeah, if I put my treemotion if be wishing that wet kit was my only worry.

Looking at it a sealed box with a tubular heater and small dehumidifier could be a goer. £70 for the appliances and whatever the materials cost.

I wouldn't bother Joe.

In 10 days time we are due for a heatwave for months, hottest in 100 years.

It was on the internet today.

If that's what you're doing on the internet you've exhausted all of the big boy sites.

Make sure you keep hydrated.
