I dont even think you could do that kind of speed even if you were in a car capable of those speeds. It is going down a hill just before you get into bendy little village.

It sounds more like an error with the equipment that should have been spotted before sending out the ticket. I can't find the story where I've seen this happen before (just the one about a parked car being done for speeding :lol: ). If you contact the issuers I'm sure they will look into it.

If it is a malfunction I expect there will be others breaking the sound barrier and creating the doppler shift !

thanks everybody i will ring the police road safety team that sent me the notice of prosecution on monday they dont work on a weekends, and see what they say cheers for the advice.

anything double the speed limit for 30 40 is a automatic ban and anythig 100mph + is a ban and dangerous driving get evidence photo's and inspection of the equipment records
