Just to add too the confusion, but I believe the 462 will be out this year!

Not quite sure if it's the 441 or 461 they're replacing but something is out there in development! (found this on a german forum) . . . 442 or 462:confused1:

 

If they can create the same magic that they did with the 661 the it'll be a winner :thumbup:. . . but if they create another fat lump like the 362 then :thumbdown:

Rumours are it could be fuel injected, well that's what the stihl guys said at the apf after twisting there arm

It's a 462, there's a lovely lady sporting one in the 2017 stihl calendar. As for fuel injection that would be interesting, they already have some grinders injected I believe but can't honestly see any benefit in going injected over electric carbs. Begs the question though how long wiIl it be before the first remap will be available.
