Just to add too the confusion, but I believe the 462 will be out this year!

 

 

Not quite sure if it's the 441 or 461 they're replacing but something is out there in development! (found this on a german forum) . . . 442 or 462:confused1:

 

If they can create the same magic that they did with the 661 the it'll be a winner . . . but if they create another fat lump like the 362 then

Rumours are it could be fuel injected, well that's what the stihl guys said at the apf after twisting there arm

Looking myself - between the 461 and the 576xp. 576xp looks like a great saw - and the vibes are so low.

It's a 462, there's a lovely lady sporting one in the 2017 stihl calendar. As for fuel injection that would be interesting, they already have some grinders injected I believe but can't honestly see any benefit in going injected over electric carbs. Begs the question though how long wiIl it be before the first remap will be available.
