How about pushing the yellow knob down in the landy when you had a big lump to pull over. :biggrin:

 

Nah, it was pulling back the red lever, then jumping out and twisting the hubs to lock.

Going out in the 70's with a Pioneer 1200 and an axe, dropping dead elms mainly, burning tops, igniting stumps with the exhaust, cold feet in wellies, no ppe, the gear lever snapping off in the Landie, jumpers for goalposts ooo they were the days:thumbup1:

my granddad told me he yesturday when he was abut 30 he was weilding a Dolmar CC 60ft up a dead wellingtonia, i thought he had never climbed in his life other than knocking limbs out of trees from a ladder

The blower has to be the third best tool, after the saw and chipper.:thumbup:

 

And not being petered to death by every other passerby asking for free wood and when you say no they look at you like you shot their dog :001_rolleyes:
