Does anybody no what sort of money i should be on employed by somebody? I got my pts/ chipper / cs30 /cs38 / brush cutter/ street works(chapter8) / cscs and been doing tree work about 3 years and very hard working wil work 24 hours a day 7 days a week doesnt bother me lol

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

No idea but an immigrant will work 30 hours in a 24 hour period, 8 days a week for nothing and still send 85% of their wage back according to many on here so you might as well give up now because your not even in the running :laugh1:

£80 max on the books, meaning anywhere between minimum wage and 80.

No wonder people can't always get staff - of course it is pleasant working outdoors in great surroundings, but that sort of money will always leave someone feeling bitter and disappointed, at least some of the time.

The national living wage imo is something good from the conservatives, shame brexit is being blamed for missing the £9 hr 2020 target

£80 max

Now if i said that i would have a load of arseholes jump down on me! Though not sure in employed rates

I have realised now that the lads at 80.00 a day arnt much cop at all. Once of a day a lad at 80.00 a day would be good, now theyre fresh out of college and crap.

This is a great subject for eggs, he'll be along shortly :D

Employed?

All tools and PPE paid for?, 20 days holidays, plus bank holidays?, do you get use of a company vehicle to and from work? Are the company paying in to a pension?

More info needed.

I reckon things need to be in perspective. CS tickets are not cheap- a young bloke who works for me occasionally gets £100 a day on a building site, labouring with nothing else but a CSCS card. Groundworkers, tarmac layers...a lot of this stuff isn't highly skilled nor do you need tickets but you can earn £100 plus? How are blokes who can do aerial rescue if required, are competent on the ground and can use a saw legally not be worth £100 a day? I do freelance landscaping here and there...£100 per day. I think it's time to get real on this.
