Take the flywheel out with the bearing on the back in the big block and drive 2 peices of 2x2 wood in betwween the bearing and the fans and then support etither sode with a few blocks so its raised off ground then get sledgey and shock the shaft so it slides off. And to get bearing out just get a small punch and hammer and keep tappin round the outside

  9. Ive just brought a old timberwolf 150 chipper. I no the in fees roller needs chNgin has it struggling to take in timber can i just change the blades on it or do i need to refurb the complete rollers? ( bearings n stuff like tht) cheers adam

  14. Ive got a stupid marlow rope so carnt put frew cambium saver because of big eye so been using micro pulley with sling as cambium saver . Looking at getting new rope very soon probably get a telfburg rope or new england one

  21. Cheers when I'm there doing the job this week i will take a few pics and have a good look
  22. Went to look / quote a beech tree today to dead wood its quite a big tree and noticed that its got a load of white spots all over the bark about 1/2 way up the main trunk. Had a look around the base and were possible from the ground couldnt see any fungus growths. Any ideas what the white spots are are they harmfull to the tree?
