What a guy. He displays all the gravitas and diplomacy of a tangerine.

The US president says he no longer feels obliged to think only of peace, after not being awarded the annual prize.

I'm curious; do either of this threads most prolific posters think this episode is to be applauded? If not, then how should Europe counter it, is Mr Starmer on the right track, or should he display more balls?

If he does take over Greenland, I reckon we should shut their bases here. Probably axe Trident while we're at it.

Im a UK citizen lad, the democratic process of the USA is nothing to do with me, that’s you just making shit up again  🤷‍♂️
I’ve said this before you class anyone whom is not a TDS sufferer as a supporter.
What is embarrassing is Starmers behaviour, Maggie had Reagan eating out of her hand back in the day.

I admit to a bias as I blame american quasi diktats for a lot of the problems in the middle east  and the problems with our economy in the post war years.

Yes the war would not have been won without them but they benefited hugely from the Marshall plan where they hung UK out to dry because we elected a what they considered was a socialist government.

Bit of a derail I know, but how did the UK get hung out to dry by the Marshall plan?  Incidentally hopefully you know that we never paid back our WW1 debts to the USA and we very much betrayed them in the aftermath of WW1.  Yet still they gave us $31 billion for WW2.  What would that be worth today?
