When I lived in Chamonix I used to go skiing with a mountain guide who then moved to Greenland. He spends his time guiding exploratory ski trips, fishing, kayaking, dog sledding. Absolutely freaking idyllic.

I'd choose Greenland over most other countries on the planet, Gaza and California included.

Well, there you go, takes all sorts

It's horses for courses of course, but I'd be happy enough doing this if forced to.

Me too. For a month or six or even 12 maybe. After that though I'd want some other stuff like history/culture, soft green landscapes, heat, etc etc. (That said I have next to no knowledge of Greenland).

Well, you can keep your Circue du Soleil and your caramel latté, I'll be off in a cave somewhere eating wild carrots and seal pemmican while learning the lyre.

On the plus side nick clegg has left facebore. Sadly it probably means he'll be on the lookout for another meaningless job title over here.

Sorry, Gareth, holiday blues or whatever and my mind is slow, that one is too cryptic for me.

That wasn't cryptic, that bastion of liberal shitealot nonsense nick clegg has left Facebook.
