There are a few freaks in this biz who go to extravagant lengths to stay comfortable.

 

Takes an hour at least to get suited up...

 

Costs a fortune...

 

Gives me a false sense of indestructability...

 

Makes me feel like a wuss without me boots on...

My Meindl airstreams have been pretty excellent but have been getting damp tootsies lately.

I noticed the front sole seem a bit low on tread but no signs of holes.... anyone else had a similar damp tootsie problem? Would having new soles fitted help?

The class 3 Andrews are canny warm. May not be ideal for India. Airstreams were cooler on the foot but Andrews are comfier and warmer. Airstream's would be be better for tropics I reckon but I think your feet will still resemble cauliflowers when you take them off.

They are a stout looking pair of boots! I particularly like the boot knife, however I'd probably slice my calf or shin putting it back in it's scabbard!
