I know it's a question most people wouldn't want to answer as it's a personal subject but does anyone keep a stump grinder in a panel van overnight on a regular basis?

If so, is it insured?

I have insurance that covers that, among other situations. Mick is right. You can choose whether to insure or not after getting a quote. But, if you are making payments on the grinder you probably are required to insure it?

Never leave anything of value in van overnight - even if insured, just not worth the risk, next days work ruined etc. Neighbour had his van done a few nights ago - only a Makita drill gone, but a busted lock to boot. They probably checked mine out too, but it's always empty.

if it is in van park it around the back of your house, that way you can hear someone enter as you can hear their vechicle, least thats what i do, though i do live in countryside and have a small driveway so anything that comes in goes past my bedroom window

It was a general question asking for anyone's input if they wanted to. I know it is a personal subject, but for me it was more of a hypothetical question.
