  2. Indeed, which makes me wonder how Farage is going to pay for it. Did he say where , when or how these extra prisoners are going to be housed? Or was it just something he said with no back up? I agree with him, repeat serious offenders should be locked up for life. Or, a change to the judice system so that they dont repeat would be far more preferable.
  3. Auto steer warning, but @Oldfeller pretty much described the political version of heading towards the end of a cliff.
  4. Hello, yes that is our website! We are based between Petworth and Northchapel. I will check those parts with my farther tomorrow and see what he has to say, as he knows more about what chainsaw parts we have than I do! I’ll get back to you in the morning. 😊

  6. That might be tricky - if homeowner has an accident at the saw mill place of work, it might count as industrial accident... HSE piles in asking for risk assessments, suitable PPE, supervision, training... many places if they realise don't want that responsibility. Same as collecting wood from a yard, might struggle to convince someone to use a saw there for oversized wood
  7. No. It's just north east of the A264 and B2195 roundabout. On the 'Old Crawley Road' road.

  9. Willow for charcoal really depends on what willow species you're using. Goat Willow makes good charcoal as it has similar properties to hardwoods. Most willows will tend to create a soft charcoal (favoured by artists as a drawing medium) which is rather quick burning and doesn't get quite as hot as hardwood charcoal such as oak. Having said that, willow charcoal does have its place in the market, especially for those who prefer a less intense heat for cooking delicate food stuff such as fish.

  11. Be grateful if someone could please help me with the following. Have the need to hire a chipper to help with clearing up after projects (have a lot of Beech hedge and Leylandii work in the pipeline) Have a Viking GP 370 but it's not man enough to chip beach twigs bigger than 30mm! Please could somebody help me answer the following questions? (… And advise the questions I need to ask but haven't outlined below!) 1. Do I need a 'ticket' to hire a chipper and if so, what's the accreditation called? 2. Bearing in mind work I'm looking to do, what spec chipper would you advise I should look to hire? 3. Recommendations for chipper hire suppliers around the MK; Bedford; Northampton area would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

  21. TBH getting rid of wood is never a problem if it will fit in the boot of a car. Lots of people out there happy to take wood and dry it.
  22. Morning gents, bit of rain through the night, dry for now. I'm off today, it was an easy start yesterday with 7 hours driving to almost the top of Scotland for work. Migies were wild! the boys are up again today to finish off. Away to take the good lady out for the day.
  23. A rare treat to see a dealer actually put the price on something. So much stuff they just expect you to guess. Or they want you to call so they can gauge from your voice how much they can roll you for. Just have a bloody price. @monkeybusiness Bobcat
  24. Thanks for those answers, I think I already knew that it was too far gone, anyway it will still probably outlast me, so next generations problem!
