Just out of interest what sub 12ftlb air rifles do you use ? I have 2 Daystate sub 12s and and FAC one . The sub 12s are good for rats .

If you aren't going to do at least 20 mile trips in it once a week then get an older one without a DPF . The road tax will be higher but it won't give you the problems you can get not putting miles on the clock of a euro 6.1 truck .

You need IMHO to get/hire a 45cc-55cc machiene if you want to rasher down bramble and brush . A forestry clearing saw would be even better .

Excuse me saying this but you're expressing some pretty bleak, depressing and frankly concerning sentiments there. To say that the opinion of the UN is irrelevant is somewhat strong. I'd be interested to know what you are basing that statements on. Did you ever have a look at the actual report from the Commission that I linked to a while back, do you disagree with their finding that Israel is committing genocide? A lot of other parties have reached the same conclusion, independent of the UN. Aid agencies, human rights organisations (including some Israeli ones), genocide scholars etc. They can't all be in bed with Hamas. "And just to remind you, what exactly did Hamas expect Israel would do when over a thousand of their citizens were brutally slaughtered two years ago by an organisation who have the publicly stated aim of killing all Jews?" - Who can say, but they probably didn't expect Israel to brutally slaughter >67000 Palestinian citizens. (20000 children, 1 every hour). Palestinian ≠ Hamas. Or do you contest those figures? I question the understanding of the concept of proportionality in this context. Obviously Hamas bear some responsibility here, tunnels under hospitals, human shields, etc, etc; but its naïve to believe that that is the reason we now see near total destruction of all buildings and infrastructure in Gaza. Britain did indeed commit some horrendous deeds in WW2. As did all the other protagonists. I'm not excusing any of that, but it was all "of the time", a different era. I used to assume that we'd moved on since then. Maybe not. Irrespective of events in history, I don't see a justification for the Israeli actions. The fact that a terrorist organisation, Hamas, committed genocide on 07/10/23 doesn't make it OK for a state to then itself commit genocide in retribution, or for collective punishment, or for whatever the real reason is. Not for me anyway. It just reduces them to the base level of the terrorists.

It say that that is a bush cutter, it looks very simular to a strimer or with a metal blade on it. Can I not just get a metal blade for mine the Bosch Strimmer Combi Trim Art 26. will that not just be as good as the one for hire? Bush cutters? Head cutters? Trimmers? -
After reading all 95 pages, I’m after a mini loader… Anybody selling or know of one for sale?

there's an extra g "Gingko" is the common misspelling of Ginkgo (or Ginkgo biloba), a unique tree species that is often called a "living fossil" because it is the sole survivor of an ancient order of trees dating back over 200 million years.

Hi all. after recently purchasing my first arb-truck (tipper) I was wondering which insurance companies people are using? thank you in advance

Have you checked out the new tax regs re Pick-ups, Benefit in Kind(BIK). HMRC have realised people use double cabs as cars! I don't think the new BIK applies to single cab or king cab. If you have an accountant ask them for advice. You might be better getting a small van now. I've been very happy with my L200s but they aren't available new, as Mitsi pulled out of UK/Europe. I saw a hybrid Pick-up advertised on tele the other day, can't remember the brand, but that'll be serious money, but may have different tax status.

I'm looking at getting my first pickup. Currently just have an arb tipper truck but would like the pickup for smaller jobs, towing, and doing quotes & for personal use as well. Can anyone advise what to look for in either a toyota hilux, ford ranger, or isuzu dmax? Open to other suggestions too just like the look of these ones. Also don't know if better to go 4x2 or 4x4. Honestly vast majority of jobs are domestic work in town and I don't need 4x4, so cheaper cost/fuel efficiency/less to go wrong and better future maintenance costs etc is appealing. But 4 wheel drive could be handy <1% of jobs. Would appreciate any advice, thanks

Nothing about cutting brambles is pleasant. I find if you go at them too aggressively with the brushcutter, they get tangled round the shaft. I like using an up/down motion to slowly pulverize them. Also reversing a flail mower into bramble bushes seems to work quite well!

got airial rescue Copper ticket Groundsaw ticket first aid Been a groundsman for 10 years

Yes but brush cutting predominantly bramble, even with a mulching blade, is frustrating. If you can wait for stuff to die down after cutting (or roll it up) then a sharp, long handled slasher is effective. Follow up with a mower.
