    Jokes???

  3. Honey rum here. Kids left it out for father Christmas. Excellent choice on their part. 😃
  4. I'm finding an Outmeal Stout quite nice and warming at the moment. Now that it's been mentioned I think I'll avail myself to a cheeky rum before bed as well.
  5. Really helpful Thanks guys. Makes sense. If weather is fine I will start to disassemble before going to Christmas lunch hosted for a change by offspring! Results to follow
  6. I orderd a 15 in K041 format, I received a K095 Mount. The seller is sending me out the proper bar and a return label. Am telling you, Ireland is no joke, just about everything goes wrong.
  7. A few mate, but it’s pre-WW1 stuff. Killing little owls etc. Prehistocic. Very interesting history, but that’s it.
  8. Today
  9. Anything more like a keepering manual? How to arrange vegetation to hold birds, when to feed, wtf does dogging-in mean anyway, where to put your guns and beaters etc.
  10. I’ve got a few books you can borrow mate, but they nearly all pertain to the big commercial shoots which I have come to detest. 10 well-shot driven birds in a day is fine for a single gun. 200 is why people are trying to ban it.
  11. I only ever shot 1 (not that it is a competition). I was so taken aback by the beauty of the bird when i picked it up, I swore there and then to never shoot another - haven't and won't and that was 1981 !!!!!
  12. You might want to try this one - some useful bits and pieces but you won't learn all of it by the weekend !!! Game Shots Vade Mecum by Michael Brander - AbeBooks WWW.ABEBOOKS.CO.UK The Game Shot's - Vade Mecum by BRANDER, Michael and a great selection of related books, art and collectibles available now at AbeBooks.co.uk.
  13. I have been using my RRP for months so I climbed on BDB yesterday and it reminded me how bloody brilliant it is!
  14. Is your surname "Goebbels"?
  15. Ridgeline smock is designed for hunters and fishers. Brilliant! Anything designed for Arb is poor quality and very expensive.
  16. Times is still left. Even more since the overton window has moved.
  17. He's AI, parroting me. https://arbtalk.co.uk/forums/topic/136729-how-to-get-what-you-want-in-a-conservation-area
  18. This is one of their other posts, I'm suspicious. >>> Yes, you usually still need to notify the council/tree officer for works within a Conservation Area, even if it’s permitted development. Since it’s within the RPA, submitting the AMS and getting written confirmation before starting is the sensible (and safest) approach <<<
  19. Round here you have to notify on the planning application form (free of charge) then they consult for 4 weeks if you hear nothing in six weeks rock on!
  20. Is it a six week wait before work goes ahead?
  21. You don't need to appy for permission . Just inform them what you are going to do .
  22. You will need to apply for permission so they can tpo anything that takes their fancy, it would help if you had a plan and could show any replanting
