I'm a little disappointed as I tried a new starter word. Wordle 1,562 6/6 ⬜🟨⬜⬜⬜ 🟨⬜⬜⬜🟩 ⬜🟩⬜🟩🟩 ⬜🟩⬜🟩🟩 ⬜🟩🟨🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 If the answer was teams I would have had it at line 1.
-
I think I would do the same, winch off to avoid leaving a crevice as you say.

Personally, in the absence of targets if leave it as is. Not a great business model, granted

Oak tree had a branch rip and hang in some wind a while ago. Tidied it up today. Choice was to cut at the red line and leave a hangnail on with a crevice down to the orange line or to do what I did and finish ripping it off to the green line essentially. My reasoning was that the crevice would harbour insects etc and the full, flat wound could heal better because it’s a simpler shape than the closed in crevice bit. Thoughts? Pros? Cons?

Just bought a second hand one of these. Its got the really small solid wheels which makes it difficult to move round except on concrete or tarmac. I think pneumatic wheels are available...can someone confirm? Also I'm thinking could it be mounted on one of those tracked wheelbarrows with a bit of ingenuity. Anybody done this ? If so info welcome Thanks

@doobin; a huge thank you for all your help and advise! I’ve sourced a new 2024 Sany SY18c at a seemingly very reasonable price, and Hywel is going to fit a grab/rotator for me, all being well we’ll be up and running in a week or two! Looking forward to less back ache🤘

Arborist report in Conservation Area
daltontrees replied to daveindales's topic in Trees and the Law
The Council should be reminded as many times as necessary that it's not an 'application' (it's a notification) and it doesn't need to be 'validated', there is in fact no statutory validation requirement or process. Likewise it can't be refused. But quite rightly a Council should say if it considers that the notification does not meet the requirements. An important distinction between CA notifications and TPO applications is that the latter must give reasons for the proposed works, but tehr is no statutory requirement for CA notices to give reasons. Peronally as a matter of educating the Council and avoiding delays for my customer or client I'd tell the Council that, and be clear that they're not getting any supporting report, and that the 6 weeks clock is running down. CAs are an imposition on landowners and the tree protection is precautionary only. Notification is meant to be easy and free. -

Have you flushed through the system? It's an old saw that has probably laid dormant for sometime. Chain oil left in areas such as the oil pump can solidify and clog it up over time and only allow a small amount..if any oil through. If this is the case, you would be better off draining the tank, removing the pump and drive and leaving overnight in a solvent solution, then blowing it all out and refitting

Hi everyone, I have a Danarm 1-71-SS. After using it for the first time with Stihl bar oil (which is quite thick), I noticed the oil pump is only supplying a very small amount of oil, even with the adjustment screw turned all the way up. I completely drained the Stihl oil and replaced it with a thinner oil, but the problem is still there, even I run the saw several times!. Has anyone experienced this before or have any suggestions on what could be wrong?

dont know. might be if paying monthly. just a review someone left on trustpilot "Awful experience. As many others have described below. Quoted an initial price and then told it would be much more. I immediately cancelled and requested a full refund. This took over 30 mins on the phone. I had confirmation I would be refunded but still haven’t received this yet. Stay clear of using."

Morning all, Lazy day today. Going for a test trip with Rosiedog (chocolate lab) in passenger footwell of Hilux next to wife’s feet to see if she settles. Going on busman’s holiday soon to Scotland and need to know she will travel ok. She’s fine in the van but not tried the footwell option before.
