Not many spoke up when a member on here was happy for migrants to die if he could have a lower tax bill, no outrage when a migrant dies in the channel, it appears that some people are worth less than others and that's not good place to be.

Who was killing them for the 40 years before Hamas started in 1987?
-
Nobody is in custody (yet). How do you know this was done by someone with opposing political views?
-
It's not the shock or sadness of the murder of Charlie Kirk that's the cause of the outrage, but the callous ,cruel, inhuman comments by a couple of sad lowlife cnuts on here. If you think it's acceptable to gloat and diminish the murder of someone because of differing political opinions you are in severe need of professional help at best, it's highly likely the same twisted mindset is shared by the perpetrator of this and many other similar cases. Mike Hill was correct in his decision to place you both on the "ignore" list, I too have done the same. This will be my last engagement with you, something maybe everyone who is not on your level of sick twisted views, might consider, whatever their political persuasion might be.

You will need to get them in to a similar environment to the final installation and leave them there for (depending on the thickness) maybe a few months, or even a year. From what you have said there would be no point in putting them in the house they will be used in whilst the build finishes. If this is not feasible I think you need to consider kiln drying. Ash is better behaved than oak, but if you can't acclimitise them thoroughly you should expect some movement (twisted doors) and if you are making them into work surfaces a bit of pulling away from the wall and maybe cupping. You can make your own kiln with a suitable insulated box, heaters, fans and a couple of dehumidifiers.

I am at a loss to apply your meaning to this Political assassination by presumably a person with opposing political beliefs.

A lot of rage about a single man shot on a school campus... I think I missed all the posts about the politician Hortman (and her husband) 3 or 4 months ago, and a similar outpouring of anger for the last school shooting - turns out also yesterday with 1 also dead, and end of August with 3 children dead... children who of course hadn't had any chance to upset anyone at all... and start of August (2 dead)... and July, June, May, April, March, February, January (actually every month this year someone has been murdered on a school campus in the US) Just a sense of perspective over the anger shown by this one death yet passing by from commenting on similar ones.

If the house is dry and a decent temp it should be 8 weeks. If there is loads of damp and plastering ect going on those slabs will suck up the moisture and will not dry until the heating comes on. Do you have a dry room where they can be laid flat at room temp to climatise. If you do lay the first slab flat then put a few spacer sticks between the next slab and lay on top so the air can get at them. I would put some weight on them if possible to stop them warping.

Just get them indoors into the house the now, the longer the better and the building work will probably carry on longer than expected anyway. will your central be going on shortly. I was in a similar situation 4 or 5 years ago about 30 miles away from you and my timber was roughly sized as mentioned above then put into the house, I got quite a lot of movement once the heating came on, so I ended up leaving it until the late spring once the heating had done it’s winter job and was back off again. Glad I left it the extra 3 months.

imagine the social media comments there would have been after Martin Luther King Jr had an encounter with a round from a Remington 760 Gamemaster. Bound to have been plenty of right wing whites saying 'you reap what you sow' or words to that effect. And the blacks would have blocked them on their platforms. What's the word on the street?
-
I was wondering about this, how long do you reckon they'd take to get down to the right content in a house? Currently the house is a building site so that' work fine, have about 3 months until I'm hoping to use them. Thanks all for the useful info.
