I’m on Kalimba for double and SRT, I really like it.
-
Like I said I’ve not looked past x static last 5 years Joe , it’s good to have some new recommendations though so thanks, I miss that about the forum !

Have you tried Kalimba, Matty? I've got a couple of lengths of it and so far it's my favourite. Only very slightly more stretch than Squir (which I also have) but available with a splice and a lot nicer in the hand. With either of these ropes is recommended to soak them overnight and allow to fully dry before first use to get the best out of them.

You see, here’s where you lose the argument a bit. I’ve just gone over her short BBC biography and some of her statements are conservative to say the least, but labeling her a Nazi is a ridiculous insult.

65 years on! Good family meal despite the circumstances! Found out some family stuff and even found a Facebook group for a plane that Dad crashed a few years after marriage!

I have never looked passed xstatic the last few years going through 3 of them , before that I liked the non ce cougar blue but was a bit heavy and briefly I think sterling scion which felt like cheese wire.. yeah x static seems to offer what I want out of a rope for srs with minimum stretch whilst still feeling good in hand whilst probably not the lightest I’m not a fan of ultra thin ropes and it’s cheap.
-
Hello, is that piece of rope still available?
-
Marlow used to be great, but its on par cost wise with yale cordage rope, both have limited stretch, good for knots etc, Also I have an old decommisioned rope and its rather strong to put it mildly. Only problem fault with marlow can snag on leylanndii gads/ sharp stubs

It was not a euphemism, it is exactly what happened therefore I'm interested only in feedback on which ropes climbers are using for SRS work. 🙄

Congratulations on that benchmark I have 10 days to go to beat my record. To be fair theres as much of a chance that I simply forget to do the daily puzzle as there is of not completing one.

It's a fashion thing, just watch TV farming like On the farm. Like you say attracts everything, saw dust is a sod to get off.

Apart from being a stunningly beautiful woman in her former days ,I doubt her beliefs and often vilified for them would have gone well with some on here. for the record I don't recall her stating much I don't agree with.

Yes it is warm, and fpr farm work hay sticks to it. You end up looking like a walking hay bale! Can't understand why they are so popular, round here it is the most common jacket worn by kids and adults.

I’ve never heard it called that before, but congratulations on finding a girl who is into ropes and knots….

Waterproof Jacket recommendations?
Old Mill Tree Care replied to parkertrees's topic in General chat
Yes it does and I found that to be weird however, I was dry inside. It is a bit of a warm jacket though. -
That's what I've been using for the last few years and I do like it but it has to be replaced it cos my girlfriend rubbed her Silky over it🫣! I think I heard that Globe 3000 is better due to less stretch but can't get confirmation.
-
I am using Courant Squire. Nice in the hand, tie knots well and is or was under a 100quid for 60 metres. Low stretch as well.
