  2. Ask the council which team they used and keep it safe for them - council trees are usually done by contractor teams. It would feel awful to loose personal kit just from trying to get a job done, worse than having it stolen if its from rushing and stupidity. The only things I've lost yet are lots of cheap door stop wedges and a sling/carabiner that were pinched by the NTPC trainer. Had my phone returned to me last year, it was only gone a few minutes fell out of pocket. The returner got 20 quid which was all I had on me.
  3. Alot of the canopy shattered as would be expected, some large limbs cracked right in half. There's an old crack right in the heart aswell. There's alot of discolouration as can be seen in the photo.

My guitarist is a massive Partridge fan and a does an uncanny impression of Michael. He also breaks into my my crowd patter if I start sounding like Alan. Prick.
  5. Hi, What would the rough day rate of a small scale forestry job be? Cutting by chainsaw, extraction by winch and small tractor with log trailer. I've been offered thinning work of sites that are only 1ha. Based in ireland, but I'm guessing the UK would be similar rates. Thanks, G
  6. From felling the tree do you have a feel for whether the timber is sound?
  7. Not all Arabs are Muslims and not all Muslims are Arabs. Muhammad born 570 died 632. 😊
  8. Hi, Is it worth milling up an old ash that had severe dieback? Thanks, G
  9. Yup, flipping love it. Could do with a towball but it does the job

  14. No, only a very small percentage of men I have ever met could be accurately described as such. And yet, I'm sure you must be aware, it is the opinion of many young women that all men are 'problematic' or at least inherently prop up the conspiratorial patriarchy idea, simply by being born with certain genitals. You'll have to forgive me, I used generalisations to make a point, but it is these kind of pejorative generalisations about men that I feel are a very negative and inaccurate, but are unfortunately freely expressed day in day out. As argued, a very controversial standpoint, but fashionable, so therefore 'aloud'.
  15. I've tried unsuccessfully to find a maker of s15 (euro 51) cs climbing boots. I've been in touch with a Meindl dealer who told me they can get them but they have to order 6 pairs so...anyone else need these?
  16. I've thought that, but then again, it might be that you or I are impossible to tolerate sober.
  17. Worrying.

You always sound drunk on the phone though?
  19. I was going to say that's the proper way of recycling it.
  20. Interesting concept put forward by an ATL stalwart. Linking your ability or willingness to answer a question to how much of a “ man” you are 🤔🤔 Bit of a blow to one particularly anonymous member whom has made such behaviour his standard MO, now reduced to the status of site eunuch it would seem.
  21. of course there will be human suffering due to greed, always has been. Some of these companies will use AI to develop more effective chemotherapy drugs. So we will be kept alive to prolong the suffering under our new masters
  22. I hope you saved a few. Extra points for depositing some of it in hedgerows

    Jokes???

The beach boys walk into a bar. Round? Round? Get a round? I'll get a round.
  24. Need dumped so can still get car off driveway. What three words. Round park crumbles. Double check before tipping as sat nav is often wrong. Last house at bottom of hill on ellwood road.

I've always used a screen protector, made of Gorilla Glass, (whatever that is), or similar. Always works a treat. You barely notice it's on there, certainly doesn't effect screen functionality.
