  1. Past hour
  2. This black and white one is closest but not quite old enough . The original was more basic . With a simple single picking on the A chord between verses . I used to have it on a mono LP but its long gone now .
  3. @Stubby Next generation of Grace Slick.
  4. Do you know if any 4mm hose will fit or is it special?
  5. Never liked the aa, some of the people they approved were quite good at 'butchery' use that as a loose term for tree surgery/ aboriculture. Then also is industry best practice's coming from people who have never been in the industry -correct me if I'm wrong . Its like a club , buy in and everything will be fine -no matter what you do or have done .
  6. Stamp was good at being bad, but not as good as Charles Dance. Hope I haven't jinxed it.
  7. Here ya go, double helping of Grace.
  8. That piece you push into the return to tank hose as a belt and braces approach to stop the pipe pulling out of the tank, it is a bit of over kill really as the hose should be a tight fit in the tank.
  9. Someone put up the original version of " Somebody to Love " by Jefferson Airplane . Grace Slick and Paul Kantna ...raw and gritty . Oh and " White Rabbit " I was " in love " with Grace when I was a teenager 🙂
  10. I just popped in to see if PeteB was mentioned but then I remembered he's only changing jobs not being embalmed so that's all right then, panic over. Stuart
  11. Today
  12. Terence Stamp, Superman villain and star of The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, has died NEWS.SKY.COM The Oscar-nominated actor, who was born in London's East End, died on Sunday...
  13. Come on, it's an open secret that a clove hitch terminated with a figure 8 is the optimum method of managing the ropes of a climber. Especially if they're hungover.
  14. You mean a Munter? A clove hitch isn't going to let anyone descend
  15. I had this handed to me as a non runner, purge bulb recently changed but does nothing because the fuel filter was blocked and the hose from tank to carburettor hard and kinked. Spray petrol in the intake and it fires. So I decided to change the hoses (4mm outer diameter to seal in the tank holes) and have ordered some. The thing is when I cleaned the tank out this bit circled brown was loose. I guess it is the return from the purge bulb? Does it fit from within the tank and the bulge formed bu the hose seal the tank> I'm guessing the filter fits on a continuous piece of hose to the carb?. This strimmer appears to be a badged Husqvarna/Jonsereds/Homelite as the part numbers which I found correspond with Husqvarna offerings.
  16. Tom Hamilton

    Tom's Allotment

Looking for woodchip for allotment paths. Prior arrangement only - please call for directions.
  17. There's a weapons factory 5 miles from where I live. The thing with nukes is that there's nothing you can realitically do to defend yourself, other than maybe try and get less mentally unstable people elected, I suppose. Don't worry about the things you can do very little about. If the sky turns white there's **************** all you can do about it. We can do things about the climate which might help, as the ecosystem we inhabit isn't completely goosed, yet. But that's nothing to do with the wotsit cuckwit in the White House.
  18. I don't see the point of us doing what Finland do - Russia isn't on our border. It's almost certain that the UK will be absorbed by a larger state, either before or after nuclear war, probably within the next 2000 years. We are wasting 5% of GDP just to delay the inevitable.
  19. Best one I've got is Edward Gilman An Illustrated Guide to Pruning The Educated Climber has put a lot of his stuff online, which is a good companion but I like a book to look at as well https://www.educatedclimber.com/dr-ed-gilman-teaching-series/
  20. ****************'em and their games of soldiers. I've nailed my 'bucket list'. Bring on Project Bluebeam...
  21. If I had to do a pole rescue tomorrow I'd use a Multisaver. Can't remember exactly what we did on the course to be honest.
