  1. Past hour
  2. Once you have gone proportional electric set up you will struggle to go back. The smoothness and control is just another level. Downside Im not sure how well it would dismount. I'd guess the valve block stays on the trailer and you keep the controls in the cab and the electrics plug into the valve block and make it go. Nice as you can have little joysticks on the arm rests. Not done it with a trailer system but have with a roof mount botex The other option would be to go radio remote which just means you use a little remote sitting in the cab and the valves sit on the trailer. Just don't mount it all on the headboard but behind the king post or it gets expensive when you poke the valve chest
  3. de-rail thread title says new kit - not 'what replacement parts have you bought?' No, that's not an idea for a new thread
  4. Good Evening, Fully qualified climber with 10 years experience looking for work on Wednesdays to fill the week. Based in West-London, can travel a reasonable distance for the right remuneration. Respond privately to this message and we can arrange a trial day at a reasonable rate to both parties. Faithfully, Simpson Arboriculture
  5. Which of my ……Actions you interested the most I would ask?????
  6. No, net easy to fit and very easy to cock it up and at £12.50, easy to lose your money. Getting the old one out, pierce it with an awl at an acute angle ( protects damaging the cage) and lever it out. I clean the area, use plenty of oil, push it in as far as you can and tap it in to place with a suitable deep socket. I do use the factory guide to ease the seal around the inner race which makes it much easier. I guess I have done around 25 -35 on 550/560/562 and 346s in my time....so you can gauge the worth of my comments.

    Beer prices?

Like it was the mid 90s again!
  11. For legality, she was 17 and in the UK so it was all 'legal', however he was mid thirties so definitely not something that you can defend. As to what Roberts was told to do, not sure Andrew was the instigator in those demands or whether Maxwell and Epstein were the only ones demanding she slept with him as a 'gift'. So legal in the UK... but nothing you can defend I reckon. Like Trump I reckon he knew exactly what Epstein was up to, and is complicit in those crimes also by his silence.
  12. John Smith's last week in our local spoon s was £1.29 I was flabbergasted.

    Beer prices?

Think I was about £18 last night for beer, wine and a couple of cans of coke.. last time I was in a 'spoons, the beer was a reasonable couple of ££.. which does make you wonder if they can do it why are the rest so much more. However... 30 whatever years ago in the big market you could get a pint for 50p, made the £1 a pint taste reasonable.. but at the £1 a pint, double the price every 10 years for inflation? - 1 (0 years), 2 (10 years), 4 (20 years), £8 (30 years) a pint might actually be the going rate. We are just bitter and twisted (sorry, an intentional beer pun)
  14. Really dont know how I did it! Must have another look.
  15. Had a pair of the Pfanner Boas last year. Great boots if you’re on the ground. Not so great if you’re climbing most of the time. The mechanism gets rubbed on branches etc and eventually the wire will break. Which is what happened to mine. You get lifetime warranty with Boa which is good so they will send you replacements free of charge. however eventually one of the plastic eyele loops came apart from the boot stitching. Not a replaceable part so that was the end off them. they dominate the snowboard market and most of the new boots have the BOA system. Have a pair for snowboarding and wouldn’t go back to laces. But the wear and tear is completely different in our industry. I’d recommend them for Groundies. But not for climbers.
  16. What are the accusations against Prince Andrew? WWW.BBC.CO.UK Here's what you need to know about the sex abuse claims being pursued by Virginia Giuffre in the US.
  17. The Andrew formally known as Prince.
  18. The worst kind ! 😀
  19. Been done on here before .
  20. Is he now the artist formally known as Prince ?

    Beer prices?

£3-60 for a pint, in the local I prefer, 20p cheaper along the road where you get every man and his dog vaping so no go for me. The boss's G&T is just under a fiver, not the cheap gin neither.
  22. John smiths, Theakstons, carlsberg all 3.50 in my local club
  23. Not sure if he said that, he did say that he has no recollection of going to some nightclub and then on to a knightsbridge or somewhere house for sex. The photo with what's her face in the background shows he clearly has met her. Possibly part of the reason he is now a Mr.
  24. Why not have the competition on here? Then we can all enjoy them.
  25. The demise of pubs since I left the UK 20 years ago is tragic. Are the two things linked? we cannot rule it out.
  26. 020T AV mounts, chain catcher for the g372XP, carb for the McCulloch CS340.
  27. Anywhere from 10-13 quid for 330ml to 0.5l here at a pub here in Norway, Oslo area. Good job I don’t drink on the regular.
