I went to an auction and bought a Van Gogh coffee table. I know it's genuine, there's a bit of veneer missing.

And the Prosperity Institute, any thoughts on that? I’d rather the people running our country behind the scenes be a little more transparent, and at least resident in the UK. And certainly not have a Putin taint. We weren’t talking about Musk specifically, but yes, he’s definitely one of @Oldfeller 's invisible players. Even you will have a hard job defending anything that man does. (Starlink aside). The argument that he is OK because he is providing something that many people are willing to pay for doesn’t stack up. So are the Venezuelan drug traffickers, the writers of social media algorithms aimed at children and junk food pushers. It’s naïve to consider him to be even slightly altruistic. He does very well, at the expense of everyone else. “Tens of thousands of well-paid jobs” – are you sure? From what I’ve seen his employees don’t tend to be a happy and contented bunch. He works them to the bone. His car plants are nowhere near the safety standards met by all the other automotive OEMs either, nor the vehicles they make. And Grok, surely nobody has anything good to say about that abomination. Other than the cognitively challenged who can't form a coherent argument. Outsourcing thought to it is not going to end well. We're all being played. Regardless of political ideology. You will have noticed that political divisions are getting wider and deeper all the time; think about who's driving that.

I always start with a job sheet. I list everything pertaining to that particular job from address, grid reference, what three words, equipment etc, id of ambulance rv and Heli LS, nearest A & E hospital, minor injury. Job itself. Saws and equipment etc, you get my drift, I could go on but wont bore you? I have a standard pre printed headings list. For the method statement I extract info from job sheet. For Risk Assessment I extract info from method statement. Lots of repetition all the way through?

Often see big stuff like that. These modern things are similar to driving a car with all the technology, but the thing that gets me is how young you can drive them. Easy to drive but easy to get into bother really quickly. Usually ours is in and around Edinburgh and it's tiring, you never switch off. I'm reminded of kevinjohnsonmbe posting his video of meeting a youngster in one down a lane!

Many, many years ago, my bank pestered me to change my free personal account to one with a monthly fee, but which would give me in return, travel insurance, breakdown cover, etc. Eventually, I gave in, and switched. Only when I needed the vehicle assistance did I find out that commercial vehicles were excluded. Grrr. 🤬

Kohler command 38 pro efi fueling problems.
rapalaman replied to Mick Dempsey's topic in Large equipment
The efi engine has fuel injection so no carb to have problems with. No other experience from me I’m afraid 👍 -
That's interesting. I used to work on a farm, and for a long time, our largest tractor when coupled to our largest trailer, fully loaded was over the then weight limit of 24tonnes. We weren't alone in that, either. Effectively, they then came under most of the same regulations as an HGV, full suspension, air brakes, etc. I didn't know ( until I just googled it ) that over ten years ago, the limit was raised to 31tonnes.

Carb issues? Our kholar command 15hp did this , could it be the float sticking open ? Or stiff gaskets? Only a wild guess -
Removing a rotten ash ivy covered stem that had fallen across. Then ladder up a chesnut that had already been stripped and peice down the stem. Havent been using my spikes much so took me a while to get used to it on the learning stem. Boss called a nice early finish 1pm so went to get some lunch, everything soaked. Tomorrow might be dry so ropes can dry out then.

😂😂That’s not an attack wee man, I can assure you the only thing you do that astounds me is this deranged ability to never ever answer any question put to you. Now now SP/TA twisting people’s words and lying is exactly why you were called out and had your arse handed to you a few days ago. Your maths are driven by the exact emotions Mark describes Envy and Loathing 🤷♂️🤷♂️the curse of the Leftard mind.

Agree in part, if it’s a private company that has been created and built up etc what they pay the top people is up to them. My views on certain industries ie energy, water, steel etc etc that are essential to every day life and the security of the state is that they should be publicly owned, the salaries being paid in many of these and I include the NHS gravy train are way ott.

The Ranger ( Double not King) is fine Mark, working it’s arse off at the moment and a proper asset with the recent weather we’ve had up here. For a good few days multi millionaire wealthy selfish farmers and tractors and 4x4 crew cabs was all that was on the road, didn’t help that it came over the Xmas New Year holiday period hence the public sector council gritters and ploughs were nowhere to be seen. Thanks for asking. Being serious here, I feel neither envy or loathing whatsoever for the Duke of Westminster or anyone else with more than I do, to hell with living your life like that. If race baiting is calling out the ludicrous situation where we are allowing in blagging scum that are statistically more likely to attack children, girls and women than our own home grown shite then I’ll take it.

No you rightarded idiot. Simple sums laid bare, that was all. Why do you attack when you are astounded by others ability to do simple mathematical sums? Is it out of your envy, or astonishment that others can do what you cannot?

Is it not that the highest earners are interstellar... The CEOs compared to average worker 21:1 1965 290:1 2023 It's well out of whack. Bit like Thames water putting up bills, after paying out all that money and I read the other day that 50% of all water pumped gets lost to leaks! Absolutely astonishing! There needs to be more balance. CEOs of companies, when shit hits the fan, seems to saunter off into the sunset with some juicy pension.

Apparently going across the slope rather than up and down, and then it rolled rather than sliding, so I have been told.

Would you be out mulching on steep ground with the current weather, been wet wet down here in west Somerset.... He went a long way down a steep hill. Lucky to be alive me thinks. Bashed his head fair. Tractor looks absolutely done for.

Different scales, as you well know. How's that king cab pickup working out for you? Don't try to play the fool, you do it with the race baiting, it just makes you look like a dick. Envy (loathing)plays a part in things, as it's not on that you or I will make the interest he earns though nothing, when we work long hours, away from family, in inhospitable conditions. The wee people in society will be even more stuffed if we don't do something soon.

Tax avoidance which you have said on several occasions is legal and acceptable. Envy 🤔🤔isn’t that a sin Mark.

The envy of the leftards is never far from the surface. You been sulking SP/TA after you had your arse handed to you recently for lying wee man. 😂😂

Nail on head. Westminster Estate is just one of many. They take our resources and put it in trusts where they have sole access to it. So aye, tax the wealth.
