What sort of courses do you run?

Cheers, Rich. Our approaches coincide. Not remotely looking forward to it but good opportunity to do a nice job on a very visible tree. Hugs and kisses. Dissolve the state.

I come home more tired from training than I do from climbing 🤣

Thing that pissed me of was not working out what was stolen or being able to replace it even though I had a 9k limit on a business credit card ..and they came back again took a new stihl Ms 241 when my dad was taken ill..but its the damage they do and the police 's piss poor attitude.

I have pruned and reduced plenty of them looking back. Thin the canopy by taking all of the sucker growth / water shoots. The straight upright ones. The drop crotch the remainder of the tree where necessary. There is usually, already an inner crown that you can bring in some of the leaders to match. Those trees are all over South East London. Gardens and as street trees. Usually pushing the brickwork out as well as they have grown fatter than the space can accommodate .

Not according to the Id book screen shot our ‘Anarchist Lawyer come wood cutter’ posted. Largely planted as street trees the Pissardii variant.

After a whole week of unnessasary stress.. the re-sent DPD ladder changed from "at depot", to "returning to sender". I sped off to rescue them, no time to find straps for the roof rack, they would have to fit in the car! Neither DPD or DX could give me any rational explaination. Got them home. Got the comical cardboard wrapping into the recycling. Its not perfect, theres a small dent on the top rung and the weld quality is hidden by the plastic covers. At 8 rungs its very stable. I'll find somewhere better and without sandles before I try 15 rungs, but it would give a working height near roof level of the average house.

I used to work in them a lot in the UK and London streets. I used the C word a lot but not the cerasifera version of it.

I have finally got everything lined up -track, loading area and felling licence- to take down 3- 4 acres of mixed Norway spruce and Thuja plicata that I own close to Chippenham in North Wiltshire. I don't know who to try to sell it to. Any suggestions please? Some of the Norway Spruce it is quite chunky by now are there any upper diameter limits that most buyers have? I don't have a forwarder, so I think I will need to get someone in to get the logs to the loading area. Again all suggestions welcome. Thanks.

Year . I got a couple of those . I call it a tap spanner so as not to confuse it with the tool for holding a tap to cut an internal thread . Also called a " tap wrench " 🙂

I see no video Oldie . Just the blank of England 🙂

This is a tap wrench , worthy of a mention in case like me you think "it's only £20, how hard can it be to change the bath taps, only a couple of nuts." Take the £20 down the pub, buy a pint and call a plumber. Otherwise, after an hour of messing about draining the system then wriggling and farting about banging elbows and twisting wrists under the bath undoing nuts you can just about see and almost get your hand onto, like me you realise that getting the old ones off was in fact the easy bit and another two hours of swearing are to come while you try to line up and do up the new taps and stop them leaking.

i use a modified set of bolt cutters with a tooth to go into the staple without cutting it, but not great if tightly stapled. There is a NZ set of staple removers which are very good but expensive. Google "strainrite"

Wordle 1,537 6/6 ⬜🟨🟨⬜⬜ 🟨🟨🟨⬜⬜ 🟨🟨⬜⬜🟨 🟨🟨🟨⬜⬜ 🟨🟩⬜⬜🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 I have become rather fond of carelessly wasting lines till 5 and 6 when I can smell the failure and knuckle down to pull it out of the bag. A fitting analogy of my life thus far, truth be told.
