  3. This topic, along with modern economic concepts (complete globalisation of wealth, tax, emissions/climate control policies), simply comes down to a binary choice of whether one is a transhumanist or not... Are we, the human race, better off (a totally subjective concept) following the lead of vastly powerful and unimaginable wealthy technocrats who ultimately 'know best', or best to follow our natural instincts and strive towards more autonomy and less government?? I can't help but think certain things are simply inevitable - once electricity had been invented, was it not inevitable we would end up with this looming AI conundrum?? Once caravaggio, the renowned renaissance painter, had infamously used a prostitute as a model for the virgin Mary, would we not end up with Tracy emin's dirty used bed being hailed as a post modern masterpiece?? The same line of thought could be used to understand many controversial modern standpoints - the feminist movement culminates eventually in all men being misogynistic bigots. How could this end any other way? Climate agenda - it is not just enough to be interested in making things that last, or use rainwater where possible, or grow some easy veg for your family for example, oh no you must be classed as evil and or totally ignorant if you don't lust after a massively overweight and inefficient electric car charged by coal! The sexual revolution debate - ultimately ended up in cutting off breasts of minors to prove a point to exactly who?? My point being, its just what's fashionable that dictates what is easily said or not so easily said. The case with the more 'woke' amoung us, is that they feel 'safe' and 'good' spouting what they have been told, and have therfore confused that with being correct. It's a very subconscious, human mistake to make. Peace out.
  4. that is an interesting post - to grasp the whole history of the Arabs and the Jews back to before Jerusalem would take a while and give a better perspective. I know Jews throughout the world have faced pogroms, but during the Crusades europeans murdered plenty of Arabs. The history that is being written now - Netanyahu is a modern day crusader - slaughtering Arabs and stealing their land
  5. That one was sheer luck. I don't have a go daily but when I do if I get nowhere by line 4 I give up and most of the time I forget to get back to it.
  6. It's important to correctly define the sides. On one we have Netanyahu and the IDF, supported by the US. On the other we have Hamas the terrorists, supported by Iran. On no side at all we have the vast majority of the ~66,000 innocent civilian casualties, Gazan and Israeli. Of them, the lion's share are victims of the IDF.
  7. Today
  8. Very possible to do that. As long as we arn't all looking at the conflict with rose tinted glasses, I reckon a lot of people will think the same
  9. I think it’s possible to hate both sides equally. They’re both warmongering murdering bastards.
  10. Have you considered starting a Cycle convoy to Palestine? "Peddles for Palestine" sounds catchy, you could let your home to some migrants while you were gone and seek sponsorship for your carbon neutral quest? I could be responsible for your PR,we could sell branded Cycles with catchy names , Shemah scarfs and AK47 shaped key rings.
  11. No indeed. It goes back at least to the Roman Empire. They indeed were (if I remember rightly) the ones who came up with the word Palestine (a corruption of the biblical Phillistines) in what was Judaea. Yes the Israelites have been persecuted for thousands of years,
  12. This war didn’t start two years ago or when Hamas where created in 1987.
  13. It is not a bleating Mike, but there is a lot of one sided - and inaccurate posting on here - so for the sake of balance what is above is noting what is not reported on this forum as much. However I suspect that most in Palestine would like to live in Palestine... in their homes... without fear... as any civilian might (this also covers The Ukraine which whose civilians have also suffered)
  14. Half right of course, we should be wary of what both sides are telling us, in this conflict neither are coming out as shining examples of humanity.
  15. Mmmm well the people of the Gaza Strip are in a pickle then. Maybe they should have considered this before they slaughtered Jews two years ago and plastered it all over social media. OK, I know there are innocent people caught up in all this, but we should all be wary of blindly accepting what Hamas tell us. When they state that the majority of the casualties are women and children it reminds me of that stupid British politician who said that most of the small boat crossings from France to the UK are women and children. And don’t get me started on the Hamas offshoot called UNRWA.
  16. Hang on a minute. There's etiquette to be observed here: you can't just waltz in only when you get a belter like than. It's not all about the glory!

  19. Fake news. Teeny Tommeh would never go balls-deep with a genocidal regime. When I look at Haty Kopkins, all I see is Bonnie Blue on ugly pills.
    Easy access and unloading 👍
  20. Funded by Israel, never.
  21. Why dont you petition Egypt instead of bleating on here? Lots of room in Egypt for Palestinians, integrate seamlessly I would imagine.
  22. Isreal has banned all foreign reporters from entering Gaza.
  23. All the borders are closed, which is why the residents cannot leave Gaza. Trapped. Some aid can get in but that is it.
