  1. Past hour
  2. If you don't like that, I suspect you won't like the next game where the players kneel or throw black power salutes for him.
  3. I've had the fuel filter off and checked the fuel line. All looks good. Makes no difference to running issue with a full tank or half a tank. I started it up today and ran it for a few minutes to take an inch of the christmas tree trunk and remove a few lower branches and no problem. Trouble is i'll start it next time and it will probably stall at idle.
  4. No purge bulb on my saw. Thanks for the heads up on the check valve, I will rake a look.
  5. Today
  6. Saw that. I cannot understand why they didn’t play the game tbh. 25 thousand people or so made the effort to get there, plus players and officials. Someone died in the stands, people die all the time. What purpose does abandoning the match serve?
  7. Sadely the game was abandoned after 8 mins of play as a Charlton fan suffered a heart attack . He was treated at the sceine by para medics but susiquently died in hospital . Very sad .
  8. Stubby

    First Chainsaw

    I wait with interest 🙂
  9. Mind you she was looking quite proud of herself as she wore the Silver medal my youngest son won today at a BJJ competition in Oslo. 😜
  10. Will shortly be looking to get my first chainsaw, and am looking for some advice/suggestions. What’s gonna be the best bang for my buck at around £600, don’t have much experience with maintenance so not sure if used is a good idea
  11. Hi Archie Really appreciate the message, unfortunately I’m based near Canterbury so would be a bit far for me. many thanks Kasper
  12. Ultimate cactus behaviour " can you do it this week?"
  13. A second coat is never a bad thing, me thinks a Swazi may need to be ordered.
  14. I haven't got a proper hang of these check valves but the main jet venturi is only under higher pressure than the diaphragm chamber when the throttle is shut and the downstream idle outlet is subject to full manifold depression. I still wonder if blocking this would overcome the problem at the expense of idling?? I still have a strimmer with the problem of air getting into the chamber via a leaky check valve to fix, along with a heap of other engines that need attention. Will probably have to wait till spring.
  15. Or the broken trampoline.
  16. Ignore the above convoluted bs, it'll never be stock proof any time soon regardless of how much work you do and they will find a way through regardless. Get a local to flail it back into a straight line, get a fencer to run a new fence with stock fencing and plain wire top strands instead of barbed. Then do you laying/gap filling at your leisure as that's going to be a very long process and in 5 years maybe it'll be stock proof.
  17. Don’t forget the hamster cage

    Paul’s allotment

  19. Perhaps they’re those lazy bastards who leave their decs up year round. There’s probably a settee and some kids bikes at the front of the house and a broken fridge in the long grass round the back.
  20. Looks shite. Seems they did it last year as well.
  21. what are you intending to cut with a 36" bar?
  22. https://doylemachinery.co.uk/vacancies/
  23. The c doesnt necessarily mean it has a primer. Got 3 in at the moment and none have.....the cb-e model is the 'comfort model with the primer, ergostart and tool less chain adjustment
  24. 28' is already too long. As others have said and the reasons given. Rule of thumb ideal maximum bar length on a saw is one third of the engine cc's. Approx
  25. Oops I didn’t spot the /c bit in the title… it has a purge bulb? Check the bulb operation and pipes for leaks. Worth noting: if the one way valves in the purge bulb assy stop working you effectively have the carb’s metering chamber connected to tank pressure.
