  2. Too long out of the game, what is the best throwline on the market right now? Also does anyone have experience of this throwline cube? Looks nice, if a bit pricey. Don't mind spending the money if its well built and lasts better than a normal cube. 3. Sounds amazing! Id love to have one of those. Maybe when I downsize houses. I think this fear of slumbering, or cold water cooling the boiler, low stove efficiency etc is way too narrow a frame of reference. Your experience shows you can burn the stove hot and clean. Plus you are saving on heating oil/gas/electric.

  8. Something like this Chris? Like you I’m struggling to source the correct part.
  9. It is a bit scary Mark for the kids, we push them into education, train them to do stuff and computer takes on all they can do, leaving them and their degrees with the only jobs being flipping burgers and cleaning hotels.

  19. Update…didn’t go to work. Watching cricket from sunny Australia.
  20. I’m following this with interest Chris as I want to do exactly the same with mine. I’ve bastardised mine with this at the minute, which works but is pretty clunky.
  21. 100% I do this. Outside in the wind and rain to season for a year or so(ideally 2), get the sap etc out then normally OK inside for 6 months to dry out
  22. Morning all, Rain here. Looking at a poplar with some younger lads who I help from time to time. Then site meeting with council rep at conservation site. After that too late to start a job/good excuse if its raining.
  23. Morning all. I don't care what the weather man says... Off today and tomorrow, trying to use up holiday. Won't be up to much. Have a good one folks.
  24. Good morning all. new member here looking for some help. I have as the title states-a Rock Venom 15t petrol splitter. Does anyone know where I can source the hydraulic control valve lever to convert this back to a single lever operation instead of the awful 2 handed set up? It’s just the lever I need to source as the bracket for it is on the end of the valve. Don’t really want to buy a complete valve with handle to replace the one on it now. Any pointers would be hugely appreciated. PS-I have already done a relatively crude mod to convert it to single handed operation but would much rather remove the silly two handed linkage and throw that in the skip and have the lever. Thanks in advance. Chris
