  3. Hello, In our Nursery and Forest School we will gladly accept woodchip, long or short logs of all sizes and any wide trunk cross sections as we use them as seats. Our Forest School areas always need a top up of woodchip, as we use eco methods for weed control etc. and around the playground equipment. Access will need to be arranged through Liam the site supervisor either through email or telephone. Drop off behind the big blue gates (next to Stags Head Pub) on Orsman road between 4pm and 6pm Monday to Friday as our carpark will be empty at that time of the day. In exchange we can offer cups of tea, coffee and biscuits. If a regular agreement between us comes to fruition then we could potentially pay per m3.

We are always looking for free clean woodchip (if possible) for our Miniature Pigs. We have two sites, one in Ewell, Epsom (Surrey) and the other one in Chessington (Surrey). The woodchip can contain some green leaf, our main priority is not to have yew tree clippings or thorns. Thank you.
  15. Hello there! We are a friendly allotment site whose members are currently desperate for woodchip. We offer payment of a box of biscuits Woodchip is used for for many things on our site, including: paths, weed suppressing, and sustainable growing practices which include using it as a soil cover to prevent water evaporation (which then reduces water use and so helps us all to be more environmentally friendly) We would be grateful if you could share any free woodchip with us as we are always in need of it (particularly so at the moment as our members are all very busy getting prepared for the 2023 growing season!) If you are able to drop then please call beforehand and one of our committee members who live locally will come and let you in the gate Many thanks and we look forward to hearing from you.

Just off the "Green" at Lymbridge, there is a short track (25m) signposted The Bower. Drive down it onto a large concrete hard standing with turning space. Tip the load onto the large lawn area. Easy to turn around and come out again.
