  1. Anyone bought on of these? Came out September. They are the guts of the Quadchip (apprently) with a less than 750kg weight. Interested in any reviews. Thanks
  2. Chipper, tipper, 4x4 and team of 3 available. Based in East Midlands but can work further afield for longer contracts. Please call 07983 104271 or message for details
  3. As the title suggest I am wondering if any of you fine lot have any experience with towing a chipper with a jimny I own a 150 timberwolf would the jimny cope on rough grass, some mud etc whist towing a 750 machine? Yes, no, struggle etc. be good to hear from any one a jimny to see what they thought of them overall too Cheers
  4. Hi all, Been offered a 1999 entec diesel, 2 owners from new, both self employed, stored under cover all its life, recent service including all bearings flywheel blades, trailer braking system. For 4k, is this a good buy or no? Ps does anyone know what horse power these machines are? 4cylinder kubota. Over to you....
  5. Good evening all Due to my Land Rover blowing a hole through a core plug i am currently unable to tow anything. I could do with a man and a chipper for about 3 hours work on Friday morning. Big clients so reply's must be able to commit 100% to this day or the will hit the fan and i will hunt u down. Please message me with reasonable quotes chippings to be left on site so no take away. Hope everyone is in fine form and climbing safely.
  6. whilst satisfying my addiction to shredding videos I came across this one which I thought may appeal to you all. Bit of a beast I think you'll agree!
  7. YOU ARE BEING WATCHED WHILE YOU WORK, DON'T FORGET. Today we've just had our 3rd theft working in North London, today it was Queensbridge Road in Hackney E8. Last time it was Winnington Road in Hampstead N2, the first time it was Tufnell Park Road in Islington N7. ON EACH OCCASION A PARKED CAR WITH 2 THIEVES HAVE EXAMINED THE MOVEMENTS OF OUR GROUNDSMEN BEFORE STRIKING. Once they expect they have about 60 SECONDS clear they go in. We had a Timberwolf 150 nicked in broad daylight in the rush hour in the Islington hit, they stuck it on a Volvo, the police were a joke, quite how you can have no CCTV footage from any road is beyond me. Today we had an MS660 taken from the cab, window smashed, alarm is unbelievably loud, these travellers are prepared to take any risk necessary, they are ready to fight because they will have a tool and you won't. JUST REMEMBER THAT YOU ARE BEING WATCHED WHILE YOU ARE WORKING
  8. Hi all I'm new on here but not to the game, I'm looking for a second hand 750 kg timberwolf chipper Or something similar I have cash waiting and I live in Cardiff Please can anyone help Thanks Paul
  9. Just had one of our Timberwolves put on a Silver Volvo Estate by two apparently blonde men whilst the team were ferrying logs! They drove off like nutters and apparently nearly knocked off a cyclist. THIS HAPPENED HALF AN HOUR AGO. They will be on so many CCTV cameras and pass so many police that they might get caught soon, surely rush hour in Islington isn't a good time to nick a chipper??? It's obviously bright Orange and is from 2008 so in fairly good condition. FY59 VDT number plate on it until it's removed by the thieves. Any sightings or info greatly appreciated! Thanks, Tom. 0208 540 9968 Microbee Tree management Ltd
  10. Hi looking for a price for a tracked chipper for the day. it will be in Hanwell W7 London. Need price pronto and if accepted then needs to been done by the end of this month. Probably better with an operator so I don't have to store it. PM me please.
  11. hello for sale is our greenmech cm220 55hp 9 inch chipper it was born in 2003 and has only done 430 hours it has a 360 degree turntable which is perfect for the awkward jobs where space is limited.. it has served us well and the only reason we are getting rid of her is because buisness is a bit slow down in devon and we are going to downgrade to an older smaller model. . as i mentioned the chipper is in devon and veiwings are welcome. . we are looking for about £7000 for her and a part ex with an older/smaller chipper would be considered. . any more info give me a ring on 07532105871 or private message me. . cheers
  12. I`ve come across a Landforce chipper for sale. Does anybody know much about them. I haven`t come across them before. It is big, about 8" capacity I think, with a Deutz engine. I`d be pleased of any input you guys could give. Thankyou
  13. Have recently bought a second hand Kwikchip 225 on a turntable as a spare machine. First day I used it nothing but problems! Initial problem resolved but now the feedrollers won't work at all. Have took covers off and nothing is jammed at all, oil level is good, and only problem I can see is that the hydraulic oil filter has a dent in it and don't know if this would stop it from working. Hydraulic belt seems tensioned too. Anyone have any clues on this machine and what may cause it at all? Any advice would be greatfully appreciated.
  14. I'm getting an Iveco Daily 35c14 (yeee haaaa) which can tow up to 3 tons, so I'm thinking why not put some of my kit on to the chipper... then I see this.... [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=owJfr-fAODw]YouTube - DIY vs Professional tree care[/ame] Check it out at about 0.50 seconds. Is that a grinder in the chipper I see? Whats the legality on this. Is it a hi-viz attached to the unit if it sticks out too much jobbie. How about some other ideas on attaching saws and kit to the chipper. Kind of helps with the overloading of the truck I reckon.
  15. Thought I might utilise Arbtalk and see if I can't tap into the wealth of knowledge and experience it seems to support. I own a fledgling Tree Surgery company on the south coast and have had it with cutting down brash on the back of my truck. I need to invest in a chipper but have only got a budget of about £4k max. Now I'm aware thats not alot but does anyone know of any machines that are in good working order that might fit the bill. Ideally a 6incher that is fairly easy to move about and isn't too heavy. something like an old entech would be ideal. Any ideas or suggestions would be gratefully recieved.
  16. hi, i have been attempting to find chipper blades for a 518 jensen 6", and not having much luck. saturn knives have a back log, and i unfortunately do not have a spare set to use after a blade breaking - this has put me on hold untill possibly after xmas, although cleaning the hydraulic oil of the customers drive shall no doubt keep me busy. if anyone has a blade or 2 that is for sale i would be more than greatfull if you could contact me, also contacts of other blade manufacturers would be well appreciated. thanks, tim
