  1. I don’t miss the direct debit I guess I’m optimistic the next call I get might be a great job not another sales call ,🤣,
  2. I have advertised with yel,for the last 10 plus years ,you get 30 call a month at least that are other people trying to sell you something, probably 1-2 jobs worth having a year I think I pay about £50 a Month ,you get better results from Facebook, yel never leave you alone trying to upsell , I wouldn’t bother with them if I had my time over
  3. I have a ported ms 261 & a standard ms400 ,The ms400 different class great saw but as pointed out by others not really comparing like for like ,having both best option
  4. I don’t know if you know already but you can claim what’s call employment and support allowance from gov.uk it covers the self employed, it’s not a,lot but might help you out
  5. Yes had the same injury down to years of hedge cutting ,I have had injections a few times in it dose the trick for six months ,physio doesn’t help much but rest helps ,
  6. These things can drive you mad , I’m sure you have tried all the obvious stuff you seem clued up, dose your coil mounting bolts sit on nylon spacers I seem to recall they did, and they weren’t a common plug you fit them without the cap , do you have a main agent local to you ,l could ask the guys I bought mine off for any ideas if you have no joy,
  7. It’s a long lead from the coil to the plug if I recall plenty of points to get damaged ,if you get away with just a coil not to expensive a fix , if it had good pull when it was running that’s a start, the gear boxes on the ones I had all went in the end , I was given the three wheel one to demo but didn’t get on with it found it to light on the front going up slopes ,and the front wheel seemed to dig in on any ruts on the flat , they aren’t cheap so if you get it running you might be quids in,
  8. Sorry stubby I was not responding to you,I’ve never used Red line so I wouldn’t know .👍
  9. We are not talking in general we are talking about this machine , These are a one off set up like no other I have ever seen and after running four of them for three years wish never to see again ,
  10. It doesn’t matter what it says they only run right of their own oil , @ 100:1 , I know this from experience , not from a manual ,
  11. No they don’t run of stihl at 50:1 as I said they recommend there own oil at 100:1 , if you try and run it @50:1 they run like a bag of nails , I think if you check what I wrote I never said run it off stihl,
  12. Well you know more than the main dealer dose because that’s what they told me ,and it did make a difference than running 50:1 stihl oil ,
  13. I have this same engine on another as mower , it is the most erratic engine I’ve ever know , since brand new been a pain . They are two stroke but won’t run right on standard mix , it needs there own two stroke oil, if you run it on 100-1 seems to run better, I think it comes down to the jets in the carb being very small , the carb always blocks , spent more time in the ultra sonic cleaner than on the mower, I had all the set up info from the manual sent from the dealer , if your struggling I could see if I can find it,
  14. I agree with the other comments we are pro users after three or four hard seasons all the drive components are trashed, decks and engines all ways out last gearboxes, most engines on pro mowers are good theses day if looked after ,
  15. I have seen a few of Es light bars like this ,they have a smaller oil hole than the old bars ,I know people have drilled them out to cure it , are you running synthetic chain oil
  16. If it turns over but won’t start probably the carb will need cleaning , will it fire off easy start
  17. I had a similar problem on mine ,turned out to be the solenoid valve ,not help by the plug attached to it,so worth checking no water has got in that connector ,
  18. I’ve got the 50ltr Sgs had it about three years with no issues, good customer service if you ring them , they send them with the euro coupling that was the only pain swapping over the old ones
  19. Yes that’s it.so it would be ok in the workshop
  20. We have just got the new ap500 battery’s last twice as long as the 300,the al300-4 charger pointless holds 4 battery’s but only charges one at a time and only at the speed of the al 300 so not as fast as the quick charger,
  21. We have the Jameson , and the silky hayate, and the bahco, the Jameson are hard work to use in tight spaces and a bit of a pain adding pole and having to take them off, but well made, the bahco good value for money ,
  22. Yes your right I saw the circlip on the parts diagram ,
  23. We are currently using the 3 point mulch blade(4mm) and yesterday broke the clutch housing on a stihl fs460 ,we have used lots of stihl blades over the years and never had this problem , you can see the strimmer shaft flex if you hit a solid object with the Oregon blade ,
  24. The km94 has plenty enough power ,as other people have said the needle bearing in the gear head will give up first, the battery machines have loads of power for cutting ,but the hla85 tend to break the motor before the gears, they are by far the best long reach ,I wouldn’t go back to petrol
