  1. If you don’t mind me asking what type of job do you do behind a desk if it’s good money why change? I Love my job but I no when I come to the end of it ready to retire I no my body ain’t going to be much good and I will suffer with a lot of aches and pains later on in life do now . And at the end of the day it’s all to do with money that’s what work’s about making money but there is easy ways and hard ways to make a living. Arb work is interesting and very physical and you can make a living but in my opinion you make more working for your self. But if you are making a good living doing what your doing now and your not killing your self I’d stick to that that my honest opinion but it’s what makes you happy mate 👍
  2. There not stag beetle long horn beetle one of them types took a big ash tree down a few weeks back and it was full of the larvae 🐛 and beetles 🪲 👍
  3. What are they field fare and red wings? It’s good though nice to see. They semt late this year we usually see them on the hawthorn berry’s. Great to see 👍
  4. That’s how I started my old man taught me to climb and do the job before I even went and did my climbing courses. I think it’s a good thing because I think some people once they have tried it might think it’s to much like hard work and say it’s not for them. And then they have wasted there money 💴 I think a lot of people see what we do and think I can do that watching someone who has done it for years and makes it look easy but don’t really realise how strenuous the job is. It’s not for everyone. 👍
  5. I can understand Sunday league mate but not at that level.
  6. There’s one thing I don’t know if I will ever see England win a tournament. I was thinking to my self last night would i rather see arsenal win the league again or England win the World Cup. Iva way if arsenal don’t win the premier league this year then that will be a right kick in the bollacks 😂
  7. I did think they played well though I Hope Croatia 🇭🇷 and Morocco 🇲🇦 get into the finals now.
  8. Lol 😂 I don’t no what you was watching Steve lol 😂 but I do agree with you on putting the ball in the back of the net. 👍
  9. Agree with that one ☝️
  10. What did you ladies and gents think to the game last night? I don’t think I’ve ever watched a game where a ref has been that bad I thought he might as well have been wearing blue. How the French repeatedly chopped saka down and didn’t blow up for a fowl if it had been Messi fouled it would have Been different. Adamant the ref was being an ass because Michael Oliver refereed the Brazil 🇧🇷 game so he was getting his own back don’t know what you guys think 🤔 😞.
  11. First time I went and did a days work was when the school sent you on work experience I did that for a week or however how long it was. I did that with my old man and then as no sooner as I left school I went as a groundie which led on to do more courses and climbing trees. I’m now 34 Let’s just say my path was all ready layed. I really fancied being a game keeper with me having other interests but couldn’t find a job in it so trees 🌲 it was 😆
  12. Looks good mate. 🌲 👍
  13. I’d say sycamore 👍
  14. Agree with the above that was my thoughts to.
  15. I dont think you will have a problem with applying to have the tree removed. I don’t think the council officer will argue about it being removed I’m afraid it’s had it’s day and the best option in my opinion is to be removed. You could have it reduced ie pollard to a safe height and carry out pruning every couple of years but I think we no what will be the end result I think it’s inevitable ☠️ But like the other chaps say if you like having a tree there plant another one in its place. 👍
  16. Hi there a farm I do a bit of game keeping on put there cows to the wood this year it was during the heat wave they didn’t half clear it they cleared everything but to be fair they didn’t damage the trees but I’m guessing next year the cover will come twice as thick. I think 🤔 it would probably be a good idea to put them in just before you start felling I think come spring it will be thick with groth. Cheers thanks.
  17. I was born into it I had a chainsaw in my hand from a young age. You could say I came out with a chainsaw lol 😂 my father is a arborist running a family run business so I have just followed suit went and did my courses and have never looked back ever since don’t no any better. 😂 👍
  18. There could be many factors to this it could be just a coincidence that your neighbour has put the decking up and they have died. It could be a lack of water it’s been a real dry year it could of been some fungus honey fungus Mabie? It could be red spider mite or they have been sprayed off Or they could have dug down and cut some of the main roots. But it could be unintentional or it could be intentional it’s all hard to prove many factors I think 🤔 it’s just something what you will have to just take on the chin I no it’s not nice but how can you prove it? 👍
  19. Syringa reticulata It’s a lilac tree. Your right 👍
