  1. The silky For what they cost don’t think it’s bad your getting a quality tool and it will pay for its self in no time and it will last a long time we’ll worth the cash 💷 in my opinion . Don’t be tight lol 😂 get one bought you won’t regret it 👍
  2. I felt sorry for the van to it was a Scot’s pine & some conifers what blew over during a storm a few years ago. There was actually a bird aviary the other side of the hedge to they was lucky 🍀 they didn’t get out Iva 👍
  3. I have found this photo comp really interesting regarding the type of work people do and how they do it. Plus the equipment used from machinery down to climbing hardware etc also found interesting 🤔 trousers and shirts helmets etc folks are using. 👍
  4. Point the brick work up for piece of mind and just forget about it 👍
  5. That’s sounds a bit like me but it will be over 70 if I get that far I don’t think you will have much left in tank body will be about had it. and you haven’t really got that long left to enjoy money your nearly at the end of your life im 33 and it’s like that now what’s it going to be like for my kids? And younger generations than me? It’s a joke.
  6. What I’m getting at if the retirement age was lower a lot more people would retire but a lot of people can’t because they ain’t got the money then you have the poor sods who have worked all there life comes to retirement but they are to old to enjoy or end up passing away. It’s never right. It’s all just wrong 😑
  7. I’ve been paying all my contributions since leaving school same as every other working man but it doesn’t mean am going to get it. It’s most likely I’ll be in ground.
  8. I blame government if they let people retire sooner there wouldn’t be the amount of older generations working still. It’s like us younger generations will have to work till we’re 70. It’s alright if your sat on your arse in parliament or you do a less strenuous job. That my opinion on it all 👍
  9. I was trying to look at the trees in the back ground they all look long and straight
  10. Come to think of it it’s long straight bark looks same could be cheers 🍻
  11. Lol like you say mick could do with some Leafs or buds. I’ve just looked on Google to ash, acacia, black walnut, a mature tree of heaven in winter they all look very similar I was just trying to think of something what would be growing in woodland what I’ve come across in the past. Cheers 🍻
  12. Might be wrong but my money is on ash 👍
  13. Like that my old man drilled that into me when I first started climbing that way you are actually climbing faster and your using a lot less energy 👍
  14. There is a lot to do with fitness and diet and methods and techniques equipment and so on but I think a lot of it is mentally think you have got to have the brain power and not give in but I think as a person there is only you who will no that enough is enough and body can’t take no more but I am dreading how body will feel in another 30 years 👍
  15. Don’t know how to answer this question I’m a 33 year old lad and still feel fit and healthy so I couldn’t say I’ve been climbing from age of 18 suppose when you get to that time and age you will no. my old man is 58 and still climbing and has been since the age of 20 don’t get me wrong he not as fast as he was. But he just picks and chooses what trees he wants to do but I suppose he does feel it the next day. I’m guessing a lot of the older arb lads on here will no the answers imo cheers 🍻 👍
  16. We had that error code come up on our 150 and it was the computer screen/ computer what had gone down. We thought it was the alternator to but we tested it and it was fine it would try and turn over but wouldn’t start the computer wasn’t letting fuel through so we ended up travelling to greenmech to get a new computer took ours with us to try it on another machine and found that it was the problem. Also had problems with the fuses popping like the other guys are saying also had problems with the plugs what are near the computers getting damp in them that also caused faults bad connection we got in touch with greenmech and one of there technicians kindly told us what faults it could be they was very helpful. 👍 hope you get it fixed pal 👌
