  1. I have got a husqvarna 288xp and I’m having the same trouble everything Matt has done I’ve done to and I still can’t solve the problem will I be having the same issues as Matt the saw runs a dream just won’t oil the chain and bar.
  2. Defo ash mate can tell now if we could of seen the branches on the old picture before I think we could of told you what it was. But at least you know what it is now. Cheers 🍻 👍
  3. I think willow would of leafed up by now unless its crocked it. 💀
  4. Hi mate did you find out what the tree was?
  5. Regards to natural England I don’t think they could tell you what a bullfinch was 😂 👍
  6. I’d love to see bullfinches in my garden but sometimes there is a time when something is being a pest. I’m sure you will find a solution. Cheers 🍻 👍
  7. No worries. The only trouble is other species of birds what aren’t being a pest have a high chance of getting stuck on the netting. And dieing the net has to be checked regular. I still don’t think it would be a bad idea to have a plastic decoy to scare. 👍
  8. You could apply to natural England for a individual licence to control the bullfinches. if that fails you could put a net over the tree or hang some cds 💿 by some string in the trees to scare or try some rope bangers. or buy a decoy owl or hawk put it on a post round your trees that might work. 👍
  9. Really rate the little top handle 150 Stihl to. but the stihl 201 has gone backwards not as good as they was. Not the same quality any moor my opinion anyway. 👍
  10. You can’t knock that little echo saw. Very light powerful little saw and good value for money only fault I can find is the on off switch had a lot of problems with that. 👍
  11. I like the old husqvarna 254xp 262xp 266xp real powerful reliable saws. They are a bit heavier than the new now days saws but they get the job done. 👍
  12. I would say it’s a willow tree. That was the first thing that came to my mind when I sore the picture. And yes it was the younger bark on the tree what caught my eye. Plus he said he had been told it’s a weed they grow everywhere. 👍
  13. Looks like a Salix caprea to me. (Willow tree) 👍
  14. It’s not done the tree much good. But it could get over it and if it was to die it wouldn’t be over night could take years.
  15. We live in Nottinghamshire and we get them breeding every year at the beginning of February. We go to a old lady’s house to cut her conifers at the same time every year you can guarantee they have spawned in the pond . But it’s not unusual for the frost to get them. 🐸
  16. It sounds to me like you take real pride in your work and are a true professional. But I would just do the work even though you no it’s the wrong practice. because some one out there won’t think the way you do and take the money and run. It’s hard sometimes to please everybody. That’s my take.👍
