  1. Thanks for the advice. I ended up hiding the cracks by using the cracks to add more detail and working the cracks into the carving. I did a couple other carving since then.
  2. I am new at carving. I used Eastern Hemlock for the trees I cut. I cut and painted them the same day and I am seeing cracks. What can I do differently to reduce the cracking
