  1. if you can call me on 01483 235111 and let me have your serial number (don't put the number on here) I can check if it is a mach 1 or 2 model ? and also if the additional fans are retro fit to your model? Gareth of Green Plant
  2. Hi , morning. To start there are just a few things to check. firstly the hammers ,apart from sharpness, make sure the hammer bushes have not seized so that the hammer on to the shaft doesn't spin? Secondly , are the anvils still good? and it is not unknown to have something stuck in the chute like a lump of rolled up wire ?
  3. Hi. you may struggle to get hold of anyone at Timberwolf at the moment. We are the south east dealership ,based in Guildford, if you need any help give us a call on 01483 235111 Gareth of Green Plant.
  4. That's great that you are sorted Gerbutt. The issue you had can be anyone of so many things , I know the basic early simple tests to check for and then over to our guy Danny. he helped you when it got a bit more technical. love the tool as well. very glad to have helped. Gareth of Green Plant .
  5. the first thing to check is the safety bar switch, that will shut it off if there is a wiring fault and its not functioning properly. the next items to check are the relays and their holders. look for any corrosion to affect the contacts. then you are into the control box switches , the no-stress box and the DCV (directional control valve). call us if you need to talk to one of our Timberwolf technicians. 9. Hi Thank you for your information but it was over night with a broken down yard gate.
  10. ALERT ! Stolen new Timberwolf 280TFTR Woodchipper with a Brenderup Trailer. Taken last night .Tuesday 4th Feb. from near Chelmsford ambulance station. Timberwolf Serial number is 45A1KS221052. Trailer serial number 603862. Please contact Green Plant on 01483 235111 if you have any information. Please Share.
  11. Hi Chico , give me a call and I can help you, I may need a few extra pictures taking as well. Gareth of Green Plant 01483 235111
  12. Hi Joe. not an easy job anyways you do it. This is also a good time to give it all a good clean out as well though. Disconnect pipes at the tower valves, Jack machine up and put 4 axle stands under the machine's body, undo 10mm bolts so that the base hangs down . Disconnect cylinders and then the rams are exposed to slide out. If you would like to speak to our Timberwolf technicians give me a call . 01483 235111 Gareth of Green Plant.
  13. Hi , I can give you the Timberwolf weights but don't know the Jensons sorry. The new model TW190TDHB is listed at 1080KG . The Entec 35HP would be approx. 650-700KG depending on it being a braked axle or not. Gareth of Green Plant 01483 235111.
  14. We at Green Plant will give out our information for free for the benefit of the Timberwolf owner. Incorrect details at this stage could be an expensive error. We are given service bulletins for these areas of repair by Timberwolf about spotting potential causes to the relevant issue that we will pass on , like roller box damage, aligning the bearing properly , adequate amount of grease required , the locking nut to be torqued and loctited .etc. Too long a description just to put in words as every machine could be different. I get many a call to say that bearings were only done 3 months ago and they have gone again, knowing what to look out for is the key. Its free advice from Timberwolf qualified technicians .
  15. hi Swinny , We have Timberwolf qualified technicians that are willing to discuss your problem with you if you like. Where are you in the country ? Call me, Gareth of Green Plant 01483 235111
  16. Thanks experts. I can't see the problem with letting them sprout again. There are other bushes and small trees about so future maintenance is always going to be required. Or why not grind them ? there is a tracked chipper there so no problem with access. Now the Wirral line users get to see the Lever factory buildings rather than greenery.
  17. Hi expert people, can you explain what this process is please ? Railway work on the Wirral.
  18. the 2 bushes should fit snug on the shaft , check for any wear ridges or else the bushes will wear out quicker. Gareth of Green Plant 01483 235111
  19. hi Duncan, yes as mentioned, the belts would be the first to check, and then blunt blades and anvils maybe. the no-stress works on the engine revs so unless this has been compromised it shouldn't have altered. On the 125 the no-stress will either work or not , so the cause will be another factor. Gareth of Green Plant 01483 235111 .
  20. I can't believe someone didn't reply once they knew your location. what budget do you have ?
  21. Hi Stephen, yes the relays would be the first area to try. If not them then look at the button switches ,DCV,no stress and general wiring. The relays are used on cars the most popular number would be a lucas 457. Gareth of Green Plant . call 01483 235111 if you would like to talk to a Timberwolf qualified technician .
  22. Hi Will. great machine , single feed roller type. Its Gareth here (I used to be at Spectrum ,I am now at Green Plant) I will need to know what you have purchased ? A whole new roller kit or just body and spline ? Does the spline drive fit through the hole in the roller casing and do you have the plastic outer ring ? call me on 01483 235111 and I will help .
  23. Hi Stephen, are you still needing some help ? We have some Timberwolf qualified technicians who are willing to talk to you if you would like ? Gareth of Green Plant 01483 235111. My guess is that you have a EPS1000 system , they are not the best to be honest with you.
  24. Hi , Mark. We have stock due in this week of a security hitch lock for the 160. We have had a few requests for them recently and so we found something suitable . Once they arrive I will take a picture and put them on our web shop. They will be £45 +vat. Gareth of Green Plant 01483 235111. [email protected]
  25. Your question comes down to them being either genuine Timberwolf sourced or copy parts. Block exemption regulations within the motortrade sector meant that you can fit non-genuine parts to vehicles as long as they had the correct accreditation this isn't always the case with machinery. For the cheaper non genuine parts you have to ask about the warranty cover , ourselves at Green Plant & Spectrum etc being dealerships will have the back up of Timberwolf and if there is a problem with the blades they take it very seriously . Would a non genuine supplier be as thorough ? Gareth of Green Plant 01483 235111
