For anything £6k or under, i’d recommend anything really, just try staying pre 56 reg to avoid DPF related issues. 2nd hand Pickup’s are in a strong market money wise at the min.
  2. I’m still pondering, billy goat not really going to be bery practical for me i dont think, just for transporting and storage reasons more than anything, and its no like its gona get huge amounts of use either, its only for domestic use and not professional or business. Totally get the blowing in to piles scenario which alot and yourself are suggesting, but dont wana be blowing other stuff around at same time either (bark chip, slate, stones etc) The suggestion of the echo over the stihl was a good one, simply down to fitting the attachments, stihls are very fiddly and awkward looking at some reviews and vids, as you mentioned in one of your earlier posts, but the echo’s are simply insert and twist collar to lock. I’m gona stew on it for a bit i think. And i have no previous dealings with anything echo, although they do offer a 5yr guarantee on their product which i think is good.

That tow hitch looks very high Mark [emoji6][emoji39]
  4. Can you remember what model number it was?
  5. Hey i’m happy Mark, sounded like you got a resolve! [emoji106][emoji2] Vesp’s just bitter cos hes not on podium again! He’ll get over it....., eventually! [emoji51] we may have to suffer some ear droning for a while, bit like tinnitus..... but it’ll pass! [emoji106][emoji39]
  6. Alright woody paul, home is more flagged areas, my dads is mainly grassed areas with flagged paths, and then there is always the other odd phone call here and there...... can ya just [emoji30] ya know how it is!
  7. Thats my only put off, size and storage.... but is the most sensible and valid option really up to now. I’d be fine with a handheld at home, its just the involvement of everyone else’s where i’ll fall short.
  8. Re read my post “oh masta” i said all “unbraked” trailers..,, so all “under” 750kgs prob wont be looked at..... you really are argumentative and chuffing annoying for a Tuesday night, its only the 2nd day in to the week..... give it a rest please! Mark got a resolve, i contributed......, you didn’t ?‍♂️ just accept defeat will ya! And yeah post some pics of your finished result please. Some close up shots then i can really pull ya to bits with all ya blemishes [emoji51] and DON’T paint it before ya do, that cheating as paint hides a multitude of sins! ? peace up vesp ya “Skip Rat”
  9. If its not a braked trailer then people prob wont look or bother, if its braked then it matters and your in the shit. For Mark’s interest its about just being lawful, looking right, professional and above board. You keep routing and bodging ya skip rat, i know which way i’d wana do it anyhow!
  10. Will go look at billy [emoji106]
  11. I just presumed it was already built in to the vacuum side? Is that not the case? Says in specs fitted with steel shredding blades.
  12. On a serious note Mark, try welding / bolting something on thats approved as to not invalidate any insurances etc, 150kgs is not a lot but someone else running in to you or anything of the sort resulting in you being incriminated is not worth the risk! Buy one of those step frames you posted earlier but get it from a reputable trailer / towbar supplier then your covered again [emoji106]

  14. Hey stubby, yeah i could get away with the blowing in to a pile scenario, which is fine for myself at home as i have a lot of flagged areas, but i often end up going round to my dads and clearing up after all his tree leaf falls [emoji30] his garden is far greater than mine and a lot more intricate too. I’ve looked at the billy goats you mention and makita etc. But being a stihl man [emoji6] i’ve also spotted the SH56C-E at £230 and for a little extra but with slightly better spec and accessories the SH86C-E at £255 so quite tempted ?‍♂️ like the added / built in mulcher function of them too, which obviously condenses the amount of crap retrieved etc which would stop daddy dearest also commenting that his green bin is full [emoji39] what ya think?
  15. Or attach this to trailer https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn%3AANd9GcR_8fFALvYSb-hlSvM3MKvCZIJ-HSRJU0gPQpBDvWuWxX0i8Rd0
  16. https://www.pfjones.co.uk/images/Towbar_accessories/Z52A.jpg One of these not work for ya?
  17. Is it a fixed tow hitch on trailer or does it swivel and activate like on a braked trailer?
  18. Safest and most legal solution is the lowering plate for the towbar, altering trailer a-frame etc could invalidate insurances etc. Pisser having to bolt on and off all time tho like ya say.
  19. Looking for a leaf vacuum capable of picking up majority of leaves, obviously some wet ones will and can be quite stubborn. Not bothered if petrol or battery, don’t really want electric with cable dragging everywhere. Was looking for something £200 ish any you can recommend?
  20. Just gone on ebay today if your still looking... https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F183499406550
  21. My Mrs is part ethnic... won’t tell ya what words came out of her mouth when she saw it on the tea time news [emoji37] good job it wasnt her he was sat next to on the plane, he’d be part of the planes window furniture on runway by now!
  22. Cheers MATE [emoji30]
  23. Chuffing hell Gaz, theres five different brands there.... his heads gona be spinning [emoji39]
  24. Mr Storrs and Mr Hairy-Front, thanks for your suggestions on the ash vac, purchased one from Lidl today and have vacuumed my fireplace and fire with it already. REALLY impressed, small, compact, has a filter blow through function so keeps itself sucking at a proper decent rate. Didn’t fit the wheels, i have no need for them, wound the dog up a bit with the blow function too [emoji190][emoji39] would recommend to others too [emoji106]
  25. That was my jist felix, if his mate truly was a mate ?‍♂️
