  1. On the river ribble path by westbradford, rivers well up.
  2. Glad you have some sun, been overcast most of the day here, had a clear few hours about mid day.
  3. Uncontrollable mental illness CAN and does promote drug use was the original mention. You said classroom teaching could stop drug use, then you back peddled saying they needed to be of mental fortitude to stop it happening. Now your implying the opposite again? “In a round about way!” as you put it! How do teachers know who “these TYPES are”? (Your a prick for trying to categorise the unfortunate!) And as for “waiting on events”...... thats another point, how can you spot what is going to happen, you cant! You’ve just talked yourself in to a circle of muttered bollocks!!! Are you on drugs? Do you want me to get the doctor...... i mean teacher??!!! I’m done for tonight Vesp, you’ve wiped me out with all your spatterings of excrement, i’m off to clean my full body suit off, you’ve completely covered me from head to toe tonight! Soon be 4am get up for me, night night ya [emoji931] end!
  4. Read you first paragraph and said fuck it to the rest!!! You are a tit at times! If you are of a mentally imbalanced state.... (the point everyone is trying to get across to you) then how can you decide if you are of good mental fortitude to straighten yourself out??!!! You cant, and so the drugs take over! ??‍♂️
  5. I’m not visiting your cabin in the woods! [emoji15] you can fook right off!!!
  6. How do you depict or who actually decides ‘who has’ and ‘who has not’ got suitable mental fortitude to cope? This is my point Vesp, its far deeper than what you suggest, its an illness is the long and short of it and even so called professionals cant always read the signs and get it right every time. People can suffer the trigger from early childhood or it can come in the later stages of their life ?‍♂️ then leading on to cure or prevention. Cure to the individual is battling through it, prevention to the individual is to take drugs. Even the might VESP hasn’t got an answer on this one i’m afraid. Your beaten.... accept it!
  7. Can relate to this! [emoji849][emoji30][emoji42]
  8. Agree with some of that Vesp, but even when educated your still going to get the “thrill seekers” as someone called em earlier, or the mentally unstable that will try it. Once taken, then that opens the door to the downward spiral, its the trigger for taking em in the first place thats the cause, ‘the villain’. The answer? Dont think there is one. Even if there were no drugs to take, people would do something else no doubt, self harm etc but thats another whole debate!!!
  9. Err... well Vesp appears to have gone to ground but....... ha! I got the chainsaw bug but am still only a mere tinkerer, i’m up to 3 of my own personal saws now with 6 to sell on, but other projects are keeping me away from them for at least 6 months now [emoji30]
  10. [emoji389][emoji389][emoji389][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]
  11. Take drugs to ease the other going ons in their their lives. Mental instabilities obviously contribute to the sticking heroin in their bodies and the likes cos they think it eases their pains. There two sides / outlooks in eveyones lives, call it a set of scales mick, occasionally we ALL slip to the wrong side..... all be it a ‘bad day’ for you and me, but for those in need.... could be more mentally life changing slip the wrong way. i.e injecting etc
  12. Sorry Chessa, didn’t see the piece you’d written that ‘karma mick’ has just pulled you up on [emoji849] i kinda mimicked what you’d already said ?
  13. https://www.whalleyhydro.co.uk/ Very similar looking.
  14. They built one in next village to us (whalley) same sort of thing, community input etc but same as you, not sure on the returns.
  15. You read too much Chessa [emoji15] i couldnt take it all in, i’d get all my words in a mucking fuddle ?. Not to argue against anyones hardships or misfortunes, as i’ve been lucky in life as of yet. I’m not sure in this case it could be just specifically blamed on poverty? Timon did explain that the girl had a child that stayed with her mother (childs grandmother) and he had witnessed her coming to the scene and approaching her, begging her to come back home for xmas etc, that would suggest that financially she could have been supported? Do you think she could have been ill (mentally) causing her to end up doing what she did on the streets?
  16. Waterwheels lasted decades! Surely with our modern thinking caps on we could devise something very similar but on a smaller scale with a good efficiency and low maintenance cost?! You go for your set up Paul, sounds trick [emoji106]
  17. Have asked myself that question a good few times when i’ve been out and about with the dog or in car in some remote places. Hydro would produce steady uninterrupted power all year round. My assumption is that the doo gooders dont want watercourses harmed or damaged etc from their installs and running. Could be wrong in my assumptions of course [emoji6] They used to divert water courses to run mill wheels? Why not do the same in smaller versions ?‍♂️
  18. I could prob of worded it a bit better with regards to my use of the expression ‘karma’ in my first quote but i dont think it would of made any difference really. Hey ho.
  19. His life ended so it took the scenario away Mick ?‍♂️ IF people had spoken up sooner then maybe ‘karma’ (figure of speech) might have been different how it was delivered to him ?‍♂️
  20. Put her in the ditch of what used to be hedge and cover over..... Job done! Families eh, nowt but hassle sometimes. Smile sweetly Spandit, karma always comes round.
