  5. Fairly sure those 3.0 d4d have valves in back end of fuel pump, suction control valves, they operate with fuel delivery and pressure build up/release, switching from low pressure to high pressure when accelerating/decelerating. They can give bother, usually raise their heads at 90k - 100k miles, plugging diagnostics on should show sumthing with live data, and a ‘P’ code/number. Can change em, theyre usually a barsteward though cos often very snug to get at, and success rate is not always 100% though as they can wear the pump itself. Best getting it plugged on for an indication.
  6. Not that you ultimately know when your gona kark it, but you can gift it to them, 7 yrs to avoid the tax though. Or invest it in a trust fund for them and stipulate it in ya will that it goes to them. Not sure fully how it works but i believe it is a way round it, a good financial advisor may be your best bet for that though.
  7. You rebuilt using old fuel lines? Not got any pipes sucking in on themselves once temperature is up etc? 3 mins is perfect time for being just up to max temp.
  8. You getting a vaccum in your fuel tank? Breather issues?

    Jokes???

While riding my motorbike, I swerved to avoid hitting a deer, lost control and landed in a ditch, severely banging my head. Dazed and confused I crawled out of the ditch to the edge of the road when a shiny new convertible pulled up with a very beautiful woman who asked, "Are you okay?" As I looked up, I noticed she was wearing a low-cut blouse with cleavage to die for... "I'm okay I think," I replied as I pulled myself up to the side of the car to get a closer look. She said, “Get in and I’ll take you home, so I can clean and bandage that nasty scrape on your head.” "That's nice of you," I answered, "but I don't think my wife will like me doing that!" "Oh, come now, I’m a nurse," she insisted. "I need to see if you have any more scrapes and then treat them properly." Well, she was pretty and very persuasive. Being sort of shaken and weak, I agreed, but repeated, "I'm sure my wife won't like this." We arrived at her place which was just few miles away and, after a couple of cold beers and the bandaging, I thanked her and said, "I feel a lot better, but I know my wife is going to be really upset so I'd better go now." "Don't be silly!" she said with a smile. "Stay for a while. She won't know anything. By the way, where is she?" "Still in the ditch with the motorbike, I guess."
  10. Glad shes doing ok, Bloody goats!.... you’ve got a mix match handful there. We used to have two goats on the farm, bloody mischievous little sods but full of character and laughs at same time. [emoji23]
  11. Hows your pooch doing Mark? She got to grips with feeding times etc?
  12. Carrying a gopro or the likes on your head is fine or strapping it to your chest. If your doing B&B then its only a usb cable to store and carry.
  13. Does that make it brittle as in splitting wise then?
  14. Just had a look in my settings, could be the sand timer icon “screen time” you have turned on. I’ve just turned it on out of interest.
  15. My Mrs ipad started pinging away on its own last sunday [emoji15] must av been an update its done then when shes put it on charge. All her synchronised settings had been re-enabled again [emoji34] makes sense now.
  16. Not personally mick, you must have a setting on your phone to advise do ya? 6 hours a day sounds a lot, is that a solid usage average mick? i very rarely look/use my phone at work, occasionally i’ll av a looksy on my brew if i get chance, mainly its when i get home after work, but is on/off even then.
  17. Would you then sort by hand or put in to some sort of separating machine to get logs / twigs separated? (Total novice here looking in ?)
  18. Fuck me i’m ill!!!! I’m handing out sensible info to vesp [emoji33] whats going on!
  19. Chill out ya roman goof! Your quick to create and manipulate threads and others into an argument!!! We’re just yanking ya chain!!! If your going on a trail mission of that length your gona need a power source to keep ya recorder going, that could potentially be weighty needing multiple items if your tenting. I’d go with a head mounted gopro or the similar with some offering mega battery life, and it keeps your hands free. B&B is your answer at 15 - 20 mile ish intervals, thats plenty mileage in a day to keep ya just under the threshold of burning yaself out, thats if your doing a full venture of lakes in one hit. I’ve done quite a lot of the wainwrights, but was a good 10yrs since. Very enjoyable with right weather, f’kin shite and depressing if it decides to turn on ya!
