  1. STOP IT!!!! Your doing it again! ??‍♂️
  2. Kin’ell Conor..... give someone else a go! [emoji23]
  3. As Conor suggests, set an example/task to do and carry it out without distractions. I was never great at putting pen to paper, could do manual tasks a piece of piss, and gather the processes on how to do them in my head easily if i’d physically seen how they were done. Give me a task on paper, i’d basically have a sketch pad as an answer, majority of time the answer would be correct, but the teacher wouldn’t accept it cos it was not written how THEY wanted it written. We all absorb things differently, youtube can be good if you hit upon the right video, some stuff is garbage but some is also very helpful and easy to pickup/learn with the right person telling the scenario. Vesp of all people ([emoji849] i know guys i’m sorry [emoji119]) actually gave some really good sound advice to someone not too long ago who was struggling with learning and taking stuff in, cant remember the title of the thread or who it involved, be had some good ways of approaching stuff. He’ll probably raise his annoying head at some point. Other than the above, DON’T be afraid to ask questions, everyone is entitled to ask questions or give opinions, no matter who you are or in any situation. Anyone who is offending towards you about it and the fact you are asking for help...... well just tell em to go and knob off cos they aint worth knowing!!! We all ask for help at some point in our lives. Good luck [emoji106]

    IBC tanks

He has a scaffold frame that they are sat in but are way up off the ground, the frame has some run around bars to keep the tank from swelling when full. His tanks are pretty solid and rigid though to start with as they used to contain very strong cleaning solutions. The tanks actually came off a farmer mate of ours who used the ibc’s for storing split wood as everyone else is suggesting they do, hence the left over tanks.

    IBC tanks

Mate of mine has two on his allotment, he has them sat up on a scaffold frame, saves rain water in them for feeding / watering, as hosepipes on allotments are generally scarce.
  6. I didnt want to appear southernist in my reply. Not on arbtalk anyhow, i’m only just getting to know em all [emoji6][emoji38] It was a 1990 mk2 1.6 rs turbo, not the original rs2000 otherwise yeah.... you’d be right and i’d be crying for mummy right now realising what i could of had.
  7. Keep feeding us the info baldbloke..... we likes a good riddle ?
  8. I’m guessing he doesnt read or doesnt like taking constructive orders then [emoji23] It is an alarming amount of wood being burnt though, and does suggest a bit of burning for burnings sake.
  9. I only had five visits to site before completion, Foundations dug out with marker posts indicating my fill level, Trench blocked and slab was poured and up to damp proof level, Walls built up to wall plate height. And once first fixed internals were done. Finally came to see finished product with drains installed. I just sent daily photos for rest of it from my phone on what i’d done. He was well made up [emoji106]
  10. Nowt like throwing flowers at ya self is there [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]
  11. Is he burning just for sake of burning? The heat store should surely knock the burn off when it gets to maximum stored / heat volume, on domestic and heating needs. I cant believe that he has a major heat loss of such proportion from his build. Regs are quite stringent on full self builds, more so than doing an add-on or extension. Underfloor heating is a tick over scenario once up to temp and usually very efficient to run. I’m favouring an installation cock up some where that isn’t knocking the system out of play when it should and its sending all other / excess heat out the flue. [emoji848]?
  12. Had this scenario first hand, Sold a 1990 mk2 RS Turbo to lad from London years back. He turned up after catching lots of trains to get here, had a look round car, checked engine bay and the likes as you do, took it for a drive, passed comment on how clean it was, how free from oil it was in the usual places etc....... Rang me up 3 hours later telling me he was on the services broken down, there was a severe oil leak and loss of drive??? ?‍♂️ I said, well you checked round it, drove it, commented on it for being clean etc, and you also signed a little piece of paper, a written receipt that said “sold as seen, no warranties given”.... he put phone down on me [emoji15] how rude! ?
  13. Thats a country file calendar entry right there [emoji106]
  14. You never disappoint pedro! [emoji108]

  16. You’ll never offend me [emoji16]
  17. I should add also, that when she started to carry out the task, she couldn’t quite carry out the full pollarding and take down on her own...... she needed a little help!
  18. Image coming soon = ..... really doesn’t exist.
