I bought the next size down too in the husqvarna line up on the recommendation of neiln on here, just losing a little length [emoji6] on the shaft makes it easier on those lesser pieces, have enjoyed using them in the short time i’ve had em, thanks again to neiln [emoji106]

My mate has a 394, its had an exhaust mod at some point, it sounds like and pulls like a chuffing animal! Pops a bit at top end occasionally but doesnt seem to lose power with it. I found it a hand full to be honest, bit heavy for me personally and after a while gave me a bit of arm pump, (but we were nearly up to our knees in bog and at it all day which took its toll on my whole body to be honest) [emoji30]

??? i have been lead to believe! [emoji6] But nah, thanks for the info, just weary sometimes of synthetic oils as i have seen some engines (4 stroke) behave poorly and destruct when put on to synthetic oil, usually around year 1998 to 2003. I just put it down to the “big commercial changes” where semi’s and fully synthetic oils were being heavily introduced in to the industry. One particular thing that stood out to me was when we shifted from texaco 15w40 mineral to shell helix 10w30 semi synth in 2000 and a large proportion of our OM457 merc engines decided to die! I’m only a “basic messer” (thanks Joe! [emoji849][emoji30])with chainsaws / concrete saws and tend to stick with most 2006 models and before, hence using stihl hp mineral with no issues. (As of yet)

Since you dont know anything about 2 stroke engines [emoji848].,..,,,,... [emoji51]? and in conjunction with another thread you have been involved with, you have mentioned about using good quality 2 stroke oil. I personally have only ever used stihl hp mineral oil in all my concrete saws and chainsaws plus all others that i have fettled with. So.... what are your thoughts on using or being forcefully moved to using, synthetic two stroke oils?

Be careful, my mate bought a hilux pickup on a 98 T reg i think it was, 12 yrs ago from Bolton, he sold it 3 months ago to a local bloke we know who wanted it for his lad down in Southampton, (he lives in the woods and apparently it would make an ideal ferrying and fuck about vehicle he said!) About a month ago i was browsing hilux’s as i’m debating on what to buy next and ONLY by chance did i see his pickup for sale again cos i recognised the Reg! My mate looked over the advert and realised that the pictures he was seeing were from the original listing 12 yrs ago when he bought the pickup! they had replicated the advert but down in Southampton, (the scammers had obviously researched the reg from seeing it being used round Southampton) We contacted the bloke that my mate sold the pickup to and explained what we’d seen and read, but he said no his son still had it and had no intensions of selling it as he loved it! I did a simple google search of “toyota hilux” including his reg, and up popped the advert from 2006 when he first bought the pickup! Obviously its so easy to replicate and scam these days!!! So moral of the story is..... make sure you heavily research your soon to be purchases, or even if possible, go see the product before buying and don’t hand any cash over till your are 100% sure. [emoji106] In answer to your post, yeah the identical pictures suggest a fraudulent sale, in my opinion of course.

Wouldnt av a chuffing clue how to go about it, but intrigued all the same, and becoming more and more nosey towards it all [emoji6] keep the pics and spiel coming guys, top notch! Spot on Stubby, we have it preached to us at work all the time, they tell us that all accidents are preventable. But i disagree, the actual given meaning of a accident is...... “an unfortunate incident that happens unexpectedly and unintentionally, typically resulting in damage or injury” So by wearing ppe and behaving beyond the safest of safest ways that can be, a accident can still occur, or the meaning wouldnt exist.
