    Energy Bills

Those sort of prices could easily be 20% of some peoples income. Thankfully for you, not yours, but there are people in that situation.
  2. Someone wants to make illegal copies of dianne abbot?
  3. So it was you that did the job 😂
  4. Thanks Dan. I never actually mentioned grinding.
  5. It seems to me, that anyone of us on here could be reading this thread and thinking, hang on, that was my job. And it ends up here because of a silly comment one of the crew has made, possibly a joke taken the wrong way, either without thinking or just because it was time to go home
  6. Just on the evidence, and not the 'who said what to who', I'd be inclined to come down on the side of the tree surgeon. They seem to have got the tree down, taken it away, take it they didn't do any damage? Cowboys tend to leave all the brash and destroy the fence. They might've even suggested to the letting agents removing the roots, but as that would probably double the price, the agents said no?

    Long shot

It's a very common problem where I live. Half the drivers indicate one way and turn the other
  8. If you are going to do it, you are starting a cycle of regular maintenance. I don't think the amount you're talking about reducing it by will make any difference to the leaf, seed shedding issue. If they are determined though, the advice you give them won't make any difference. That's my experience anyway.
  9. I'm not joking Mark. The only reason I'm spending so much time on here at the moment is cos I'm on the wind down 👍
  10. Glad I've got a 17 Yr old transit. When that packs in, so am I.
  11. I remember now, (about the hydraulic motor). Ti's the same. Think kwik chip have them as well. Ah well done anyway 👍
  12. Any more pics? If it's similar to a tp, which, from your actions so far, it sounds like it is. It should come out of the bottom. Is the shaft and roller all one piece? Is there adjustment on the shaft to centre the roller? Seem to remember struggling, because it was tight, but when you get the angles right it comes without selecting the big hammer. So bloody heavy (the rollers) its a 2 man job, with only enough room for one
  13. Wasn't my job, by the way, I'd have run a mile from that!
  14. Looks like you've got good clean air wherever you are, with the lichen growth. epicormic growth on the tree?
  15. This one seems harmless until you get the side on view
  16. Surprised no one has mentioned Billy Bragg
  17. Very nice. Doesn't look like there's much wrong with that!
  18. Those of you out there making resin tables etc, where do you get your shuttering, and what do you use? Have you found anything that is re usable? Thanks
  19. UB40, signing off. A whole protest album. There are bands out there doing it, but surprise, surprise, they don't get main stream media attention
  20. Let us know how you get on 👍
  21. Can you rotate the flywheel by hand. It could be material jamming it. Never had a forst, but had that problem with a kwikchip many moons ago. Certain bendy stuff would wrap itself around the spindle and jam it occasionally. I could be way off the mark though. Video would help
  22. Agree with the above. A big saw will cut small logs, a small saw will struggle with big logs. So go bigger, within reason. All the 200 range are decent.Personally, I wouldn't bother with a quick tensioner. You will no doubt check your chain tension before starting. One adjustment, if it needs it, will probably do for a session. Buy a spare chain with the extra it costs. That's my advice
  23. What a load of nonsense. And as for using a disclaimer as some sort of justification. How far do we take that? Racist, sexist views, are they ok to publish along side a disclaimer? Any editor worth his salt would have perused that article and deemed it inappropriate. Apart from anything else, it attacks the very people they want to attract. I've never had anything to do with the AA, and this just confirms to me that has been a good decision
  24. I take your point Andy. I just think that if you add a larger volume to a more viscous smaller volume, it seems to mix easier. not going to fall out with anyone over how they mix fuel, or drinks.
  25. With reference to what goes in first. You don't put cordial in after the water. I use the same theory with fuel
