  6. Thanks,it all depends on how the customer looks after it,whether they keep it trimmed or let it grow up again in which case about 5/6yrs but would have to cut pleachers out and relay

  10. I use my local agri shop own brand (TFM) seems good 25ltrs for about £40 cant compare it to any other cos used it for years now,did used to use Exol and that was good too
  11. That’s great that they don’t fence cos thats the whole idea why we lay hedges(to form a stock barrier)when my dad was laying back in the sixties he also dug a ditch as he went(by hand)
  12. They ruin hedges Stubby,they smash all the crap into the bottom of the hedge and smother anything from growing

  21. I,ve just bought a Makita and they are damn good saws,first one ive had and i,m very pleased with it,well built and powerful

  23. Must have thought he was filling the tractor up,i had someone bring me a saw a couple weeks back,said it wont go,he,d put the chain oil in the fuel tank
  24. Spent 4yrs travelling to Dorset(Bournemouth)and noticed when you get down towards wiltshire and beyond a lot of pine is used for screening(scots and austrian),they obviously grow well there,is that an option
  25. Our local dealer has em in stock,dont know how many but saw a couple on display the other day
