  1. Hi all Not posted on here in a long time! I have re built my lawn mower engine due to it being run with no oil and the conrod arm seized to the crank...i have replaced all the relevant parts and rebuilt the engine ensuring that the timing belt was set to top dead centre and replaced to exactly the same position as it came apart. Is there a quick way I can check this is done correctly and could this be the cause of the engine not starting if slightly out? I have cleaned the carb, replaced the air filter and yet she just doesn't want to turn over at all. Are there some lawnmower geeks out there who can point me in the right direction please? I've asked a few before hand and worked through everything they have suggested but still no joy! Any help appreciated cos I've got to that frustrated point😂
  2. @Stihllymok has recommended one to me before.
  3. It's when you come across your bunch of keys on the hopper of the chipper with a big pile of brash about to be chipped...😂🤦‍♂️

  7. Thanks mate I have tried them and they only hire out the screener buckets for 5t+ machines
  8. Sorry, I did mention southern Hampshire in my post.
  9. Can anyone help me with contacts for mini screener hire or screener bucket for 3t? I have tried Red Rhino who don't seem to have anyone near by without excessive delivery costs. Struggling to find one in southern Hampshire area. Just got 20 - 30t of soil to run through if possible this coming weekend. Many thanks
  10. That was a simple answer for you 😂 Problem solved in one simple step👌
  11. 😑😑😑😆 avoided them!
  12. Thanks mate. I was intending to mill the timber myself but couldn't find the right lengths I needed (in excess of 6m) to mill up so ended buying it in rough sawn! I had many weeks of machining to do as it was with mortice and tenons, dowels, half housings and curved braces so I figured it would be worth buying in on this occasion. Something rather pleasing about doweling up a shoulder joint and it pulling up tight😁 .Recommend these drawbore pins. Really enjoyed the brickwork and figuring out the fireplace design too.
  13. Cracking job Conor👌 Got to love a project as a bit of relaxation...one that just happens when you feel like it! Currently working on an outdoor area at our place. Just need to complete the patio around it over the next few weeks. Kinda design and build as you go tbh so no doubt will be adding to it but progress so far...
  14. Cheers guys👍
  15. Hi mate Can you drop me some details of the hire company please? Need one of these in the coming weeks. Cheers
  16. Blimin nightmare...
  17. 😂 Or that it's frequently used and has no need for storage
  18. How about a shorter lanyard?
  19. Hi guys On the protos helmet topic again...has anyone had luck getting hold of the protos maclip torch and clips...only managed to find them on climbers direct but they ask for the helmet to be sent in for fitting? Is this usually the case or is it possible to fit yourself? Cheers
  20. How do you compare it to the 500i mate, post mods?
  21. Hi Mark I'd recommend Tyres direct. Based in Luton but big online. tyresdirect.co.uk Range of all sorts there👍
  22. Hi Looking to upgrade my protos muffs to the Peltor 3M version. Question is, can you just get the Protos brackets for the Peltors and any Peltor muff will fit? Gusharts do the kit but only in yellow. Wondering about buying the bracket separately and the right colour muff for my helmet. Any suggestions/photos/advice would be much appreciated Cheers
  23. Also be interested to hear other's suggestions here. Needing to get hold of one ASAP. Maybe someone has a second hand one they could offer.
  24. Will, you don't understand. This guy starts at the top of the ladder. It's impossible to clean windows from the bottom of the ladder. Please can we all be more considerate for those who have to earn a living with a sponge.
