  1. You’d be better off selling the London plane to a saw miller. Then buy in fresh cut oak at the right sizes. [emoji106]
  2. Have you asked stihlGB technical department? [emoji106]
  3. Get a tractor flail in for the day. [emoji106]
  4. I hope so as I took it. [emoji106]
  5. I quoted on a small walnut removal recently. Only 6’ trunk about 20” the rest was a lots of thin branches. Feeling generous, I told him I’d knock £200 off for the stem. (Way too much). From the £600 it would cost to remove it. Guy says it’s too much. I tell him no problem and leave. Now I’m getting photos of the same walnut from local tree surgeons I know asking the price of the trunk. Client wants the job done for the trunk.... Oh that highly valuable black walnut.... 🤣🤣🤣[emoji106]
  6. A while back there was a discussion about smooth and rough barked beech. [emoji106]
  7. We are all friends now... They all keep an eye on my yard when we aren’t there. [emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]
  8. Bit more oak today 12’x2’ Stihl ms881 and the 60” panther horizon mill. Testing the Oregon full skip chain.[emoji106]
  9. Keep it full if possible. Nice stick [emoji106]
  10. Is it the height of the tooth? [emoji106]
  11. How precise do you need to be? And why? I’ve found up to 10% mc difference in the same board. Ie: one part is 10% other bits 14,16 and 20. This is for your firewood I presume? [emoji106]
  12. Yup a clause in the contract sounds good. Get a decent litigation lawyer to write it up. [emoji106]
  13. No, Spuddog’s a proper forester. 🤣[emoji6][emoji106]
  14. I make mistakes..... [emoji22][emoji22][emoji22] [emoji6][emoji106]
  15. Go halves on a load? [emoji106]
  16. [emoji848] A board foot is 12”x12”x1” Britain is an island. [emoji6][emoji106]
  17. Yiu nutter! £4,6,8?????!!!!! Have you not looked at the prices on other websites? Kiln dried imported oak is £6.50 per linear foot of 6”x2” if I remember correctly. Yours is British! And that was a few years back. Also because of the rona and brexit the price of wood is going up daily! Have a rethink of your pricing bud, you’re robbing yourself. [emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]
