  1. What's the logic in not going to Germany? Small trailer on big trailer sounds good? [emoji12]
  2. All run on aspen, no smell. My van on the other hand...
  3. My stihl msa200 cuts through seasoned oak sleepers like butter. Battery lasts all day. [emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]
  4. Lugging the winch, 20m steel cable, ropes, slings Etc into the woods is heavy. Then it's a walk back to get the saws. [emoji12]
  5. They fruit early, think it's early July they ripen. They start green then go yellow then red.
  6. Stihl electric cordless! No exhaust Less noise 4 pence to charge (I'm told) Great for pruning and cross cutting up to 10/12" [emoji106]
  7. Had one on my allotment. One year 10 kilos of fruit, following year 10 fruits. Bit random.
  8. I've recently bought a Yale 1.6 ton tirfor style cable puller winch. Works great, solid bit of kit. Pulled a 25" oak trunk (2-3ton) off a bridleway inch by inch. Very slow, but did the job.
  9. When I had a allotment, there was this old boy who told me the best way to stop a thief is keep your shed door open with a shovel on a string above. He went on to explain the only person who'd got their face mashed in was himself, when a bit pissed and forgetful. [emoji12]
  10. This is the end of my bed. Everything else is in the garage. [emoji51]
  11. You're near Braintree national park! Tallest euc's I've ever seen! [emoji106]
  12. I swapped my cook book for a copy of the police training manual for the 95 cja.
  13. Has anyone seen the potato/golf ball cannons on YouTube?
  14. Chuck, look up dr nobel and Schneider clay. And stay away from the chemistry set. [emoji12]
  15. Feckers. Sorry to hear that vi. If you need to borrow a saw for a month? Pm me.
  16. Chuck, there are many better chemicals for this idea. Nitroglycerin is stupendously unstable. Also the technique you describe has some very unpleasant side effects. Also under current anti terrorist legislation, you're looking at serious time in prison. It is a tempting thought though... Anyone on here ex army? Are thunder flashes legal to own? [emoji848]
  17. Has anyone tried a chain with over 30 degrees top plate. Noticed my grinder went to 50 degrees. Thanks
  18. First world problem. [emoji12]
  19. Happy birthday mr fox! [emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]
  20. The best anti theft idea we came up with is: A very high powered tweeter from a sound system in a steel mesh box installed high up. With a remote on/off and a light/movement sensor. Would wake everyone in a mile radius and deafen any intruder.
  21. Reminds me of that advert, "Budget shark cage" [emoji12]
